There is no lack.
That's a pretty bold statement, isn't it? Especially during the current economic climate. After all, aren't things getting worse? Aren't the economists declaring we're in for a long slide downward in home prices and financial well-being?
Well, that all depends on what you believe. After all, the Law of Attraction can't buck your beliefs. If you believe things are getting worse, that's what you'll experience. If you believe they're getting better, then they will.
Personally, I believe this statement wholeheartedly. But here's the thing -- to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever explained WHY there is no lack. Here's my attempt. Consider it a work in progress, delving into an idea for the first time.
Reason #1 -- If lack was real, there'd be no ebb and flow in the world -- If lack was real, then once something ends - say a relationship, or a job - there wouldn't be anything to take it's place. No more jobs. No more boyfriends or girlfriends. Now, look at your life. What usually happens when something ends? Doesn't something different come along? Maybe not right away, but it always does.
Reason #2 -- If lack existed, there'd be no balance in our lives -- Have you ever noticed how when one area of your life isn't quite how you want it, that other areas seem to compensate for that? For example, you have a bad breakup and what happens? You experience being lovingly supported by your friends or family. Or say you suddenly get fired from your job and are without income. What then? For a period of time, you have this wonderful abundance of free time on your hands. This is the Law of the Conservation of Energy in action, from the view point of every aspect of your life.
Reason #3 -- If lack was a fact, then we wouldn't grow and expand -- Think about who you are today. What do you know now that you didn't know before? Are you better in any way? Have you improved in anything? Most people would find at least one area of life that has changed or expanded for the better. Sure, in the moment you loose a job or a lover, it doesn't seem like things have gotten better. But when you look at the whole continuum of your life, it really has.
Remember, it doesn't really matter if these reasons are right or wrong; whether you agree with them or not. The point is that you take a look at what you believe and began to transform any messages of lack you may find.
