Steps On Achieving Abundance And Prosperity (Part III)

In parts 1 and 2 of the 3 steps on achieving abundance and prosperity we talked about the first step: visualization and the second step: auto-suggestion. Today, we are going to be discussing the 3rd step which is: determination. Determination is a powerful force and is also an important step in achieving abundance and prosperity because determination is the difference many times between success and failure. So, let's discuss this in a little more detail.

You may have heard that you need determination in order to be successful but has it ever been explained to you what that means and how you can achieve it? Determination is very similar to having faith because determination is a powerful force that pushes you to go even when you think you want to quit. It is the difference between running the extra mile and stopping short of the prize. It is the extra hour you spend at work because you want to make sure that your project is perfect. It is the study group you put together so that you see things from a different perspective. It is the fuel that gets you out of bed when your child is crying because you don't want to see your baby cry.

Determination is a driving force, it is a powerful force, and as such it can be a great ally to those who are seeking abundance and prosperity in their lives.

The problem many of us face when we are trying to achieve our goals is we allow the circumstances to cloud our determination. To cause us to doubt and in turn reject our determination. Once you have rejected your determination, failure, unfortunately is all that will remain the majority of the time and the reason this is, is because it is your determination, your unwillingness to quit that gets you to the finish line. Without it, when you hit any resistance or any setback you will give up.

The key to your success to consider your determination like your faith in what you are trying to achieve. Your strong belief in your goals and in your ability to achieve your goals. If you have difficulty with this concept it may help for you to do an exercise that will help you to build your faith in yourself thus helping you increase your determination.

Try to create small goals that you know you can achieve at first, when you achieve them increase the odds by setting slightly larger goals that you "think" you can achieve, when you achieve those, continue to slowly increase the challenges until you are fully doing the things you originally only "thought you might be able to do" and you are now doing the things you originally "never imagined you could do."

This practice will take you on an incredible journey of self-discovery and will also show you that you can do so much more than you thought you were capable of. Once you are there, your determination will follow and with these 3-steps outlined before, visualization (creating an image in your mind of what you want to achieve), auto-suggestion (using different methods to train your mind to start to believe in your ability to obtain what you are trying to achieve) and determination you are closer than ever (if not already ) on your way towards achieving the abundance and prosperity that you deserve.
