God Is Good and Wherever I AM God IS!
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. - Philippians 4:8
Within the short time it takes to read this article, you can get, at least, a glimpse of God's Goodness in your life. By regularly looking within yourself for truth, honor and virtue, I believe you will become intimate with the Goodness that God Is. Close your eyes for a moment and think about what stimulates your feelings of joy. During your introspection, what do you find virtuous? What loveliness do you see in your mind's eye? What is abundant in your life experience, friends, ideas, opportunities, thoughts, money? Whether you appreciate it our not, there is abundance in your life. You have had and you now have, in this moment, an abundance of air to breathe, a number of people who positively impact your life and a multitude of thoughts which create your experience of Life. Everything "good thing" that is being revealed to you now is your evidence of the Good that God is. Regardless of what surfaced for you at this time, repeat this exercise several times a day for the next two or three weeks and allow God to be revealed to you as the Goodness you seek.
Let's Pray:
Dear Lord, I thank You for this day with all of its blessings, sufficiency and opportunity. Thank You for yesterday's opportunities and tomorrow's dreams fulfilled. I am firmly centered in the power of this present moment. Thank You God for sustaining my sense of abundance today. I sense Your Presence within me and around me Lord and I know, with the assurance of faith, all is well. Assured by faith, I am calm in the storm. I transmute the energy of anxiety to the kinetic energy of forward motion. I move through seemingly adverse circumstances with ease and grace. I bless every circumstance; I unite my spirit with the Holy Spirit and I create new possibilities of love, peace and prosperity. The Lord nurtures me and provides for me. My life experiences feed my soul. Today I celebrate the generosity of my Heavenly Father, and rejoice with Christ in the abundance of Life's blessings, opportunities and wonders!
