What causes one person's life to be prosperous while another person's is lacking? Why do some people have big cars, fancy houses and lots of cash in their pockets, while others barely scrape by each month?
That's easy, you say... they have money, their parents had money, and/or they have good-paying jobs that give them lots of money.
And while that may be partially true, it's not the real reason behind prosperity and abundance. The real reason... are you ready?... is mindset. The reason rich people are rich is because they believe they can be rich. To them, the world is an abundant, prosperous place, full of riches to be enjoyed and wonders to be appreciated. Someone who is living in scarcity has ideas of lack and scarcity circulating through his or her mind.
So if the only difference between someone with wealth and someone with scarcity is mindset, then the obvious "cure" for not having enough money is to change the way your mind thinks.
Let's look at the mind as a sophisticated TV set with many different channels to choose from. "Abundance" and "Prosperity" are channels that play in your mind, just as "scarcity" and "lack" and "worry" are channels that you either tune in or tune out. It's your mind, and you get to choose what channel you tune into on a day-to-day, moment-to-moment basis.
If you tuned into nothing but the Abundance Channel all day long, every day, your life would begin to reflect more abundance and prosperity, simply because that is where you would be putting your focus. If you think about prosperity, you will make decisions from a prosperity mindset, actions will be taken with prosperity in mind, and prosperity will show up in your life.
It's just a matter of shifting your focus and tuning into the Abundance and Prosperity Channel.
