Growing prosperity and abundance is what most people want in their lives. How come then, do the whopping majority of these same people, find themselves just barely scraping by?

If you feel like defeat is at your doorstep; don't throw in the towel. Often times we simply need to make a few adjustments to overcome defeat and manifest the abundance of God.

Don't Compare Yourself to the Ungodly

For starters, stop wasting time comparing yourself to the unjust. Stop questioning why the wicked seem to prosper and you are barely scraping by.

A thankful heart delivers the goods. An ungrateful heart is an insult to God.

Even in our worst condition we are blessed beyond measure with the assurance of everlasting life. God forbid we dare complain to Him because someone else has more 'things' in their life; as if that is of greater value than our salvation.

Stand Steadfast - Don't Be Defeated

Listen: The kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21) You have more power available to change your circumstance than you realize. Meditate on the Word and tap into your God given empowerment by faith.

Start asking God to open the eyes of your understanding and give you wisdom to see where you need to make adjustments in your life. Believe me the problem is not with God! It is with us.

Humble yourself and ask God to show you what you need to adjust. Be open to hearing what it is. Correction is not always easy. But it is necessary.

Then take action on what you need to change. This is not easy either, but it's either walk out the truth of God's Word or go on speaking and living out the lies of the enemy.

God gives us a choice and puts before us life or death. And then He tells us to choose life.

Don't Just Try - Do it to a Finish

Speaking of which; without faith it is impossible to please God. It takes faith to tap into the abundance of God. And faith doesn't just try things out and see what happens.

Noah didn't just try to build the ark, then after a few years of hard work give up and say "I tried God's plan, but it doesn't work." He just did it to the finish. And as you'll recall: it worked out really well for him and his family!

So what now? Are you going to throw in the towel and turn your back on God when times get a little tough? Sure glad Jesus didn't. When you have faith in God's Word you take action, obey, and follow through. And you trust God will follow through with His promise. Go now and be blessed to be a blessing and tap into your abundant life.

Growing prosperity will flourish when generosity is a daily part of life. Generosity is like the secret sauce of an abundant life because it causes a person to receive more than they give. Sound impossible?

It is said that the two greatest motivating forces in a person's life are their desire for gain and their fear of loss. Generosity directly affects both.

Generosity Equals Growing Prosperity

If there was something you could do to virtually guarantee you would never lack for your physical needs, and that you would experience growing prosperity, would you want to know what it is? Well good news, because that something is available to you today. All you have to do is to become truly generous.

The wise Solomon tells us that if we are generous we will never lack for anything, but every true need will be provided and we will have growing prosperity. (Proverbs 11:24-25)

A generous person readily and freely gives a considerable portion of what they have to meet the needs of others and they do so without any expectation of getting something in return. And being generous isn't just limited to financial and material generosity. It is actually about meeting the real needs of others, regardless of whether it is with your finances, actions, or emotional help.

Too many people think they have to be rich before they can be generous. But this is simply not true. We all have something to give, such as; time, kind words, thoughtfulness, and considerate acts.

Additional Benefits of Generosity

Generosity is one of the most admired characteristics anyone can express. Think about the business man who donates large amounts to charity, or the child who gives his hard-earned allowance to a disaster relief, or the elderly woman who freely gives a portion of what little food she has to a food drive. We appreciate and admire their generous giving.

However, appreciation and admiration are not the only benefits of generosity. A generous person will experience heartfelt joy when they help meet the needs of others. They will be happier and find that just as they refresh others, they too are refreshed. Their own needs will be abundantly supplied for.

What about those who are not generous? Well the same proverb previously mentioned says they will fall into poverty. This could be financial or material poverty, or emotional poverty. They tend to never be satisfied with what they have and continually need more.

Why not choose to develop your generous side? Generosity begins in the heart and is expressed through action. Extending generosity to others is a win-win situation. As you willingly bless others, watch as your own needs are abundantly supplied for in life.

Abundant Living - Prosperity Destroys Fools! So Why Don't You Wise Up and Prosper?

Abundant living requires handling the affairs of life wisely. Yes, I know, prosperity occasionally falls in the laps of some individuals; for example, they may get an unexpected inheritance or win the lottery. However, we all know that if these individuals are fools, the prosperity will destroy them.

Prosperity Destroys Fools

"The prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoever hearkens unto Me shall dwell safely." - Proverbs 1:32-33

Some argue against being prosperous, and their reason is that 'prosperity will destroy you.' But the Bible says it will destroy a fool. So don't be a fool.

How do we keep from being fools? Joshua 1:8 tells us that if we follow God's method and confess the Word of God, then we will make our way prosperous, and deal wisely in all the affairs of life and have good success.

Wise Up and Prosper

Prosperity is a blessing if it is acquired God's way. A powerful way of keeping in line with God's methods and activating His Word is through confessing it.

Now, sometimes people hear this and get crazy ideas about what this means. But all confessing really means is, speaking the Word of God out loud so you can hear yourself saying it. In order for us to succeed we must confess it out loud. This allows us to hear our own voices and that brings faith, because faith comes by hearing.

As we confess and affirm the Word of God, what we are doing is setting goals, and planting seeds in our hearts. How can we expect to get something or somewhere if we don't know what we want or where we are going? We establish God's goals with His principles when we confess the Word of God. This in turn puts us on track to manifesting the abundance of God in our lives as the planted seeds soon become growing prosperity.

Positive Confessions for Abundant Living

Confessing what the Word of God says about you will change your life. Even the most negative people have gotten results after only putting this into practice for a few short months.

Keep in mind, when you first start speaking some of the things God says about you, you may feel like it's the biggest lie that ever came out of your mouth. But the Word of God reflects the way He sees us, and confessing it helps us see and think about ourselves the same way God does.

Find a truth in God's Word that pertains to your situation and make it into a confession. For example:

'My God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus and whatever I do prospers, for I am like a tree planted by the rivers of living water.'

It's hard to imagine the impact this has on a person until they've confessed it every day for at least a month. Confessing the truth of the Word is calling things that are not as though they were and calling them into manifestation. Allow the will of God concerning you to manifest in your life.

So go ahead; put this to the test right away. God's Word is living and powerful and when confessed will change you. The wisdom of God will empower you to handle all the affairs of life wisely so you can manifest and enjoy abundant living.

Live to Give - Do You Understand This Secret for Abundant Living and Growing Prosperity?

Abundant living comes when we live to give. One of the main 'secrets' of abundant living is: The art of giving. Don't let a spirit of fear prevent you from giving and keep you in lack.

But if I Give I'll Have Less

Unfortunately, a common belief many people have is that giving a portion of what they have will result in having less. Bear in mind, this belief causes many folks to live in fear of giving, and a lack of giving in turn prevents the flow of abundance in a person's life.

Okay, okay. I hear you saying, "But, wait a minute. If I have 20 dollars and I give away 10, now I only have 10."

Yes, this is true. In the natural 20 minus 10 equals 10, so in the short-term we may seem to have less. This is the same as a farmer who after planting his seed may seem to have less. But bear with me a little longer; because, giving is a spiritual principle and it has the ability to change our spiritual and natural situation. When we give we are like the farmer who plants and tends his seed; then after some time receives his harvest.

"Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you give it shall be measured back to you." -- Luke 6:38

The More You Give, The More You Have

The paradox of life is that the more you give, the more you have. We see this explained in the previously quoted verse. This verse gives an image of super-abundance. We can open a floodgate of blessings into our lives by giving to others freely.

The thing is, when we give money, forgiveness, love, etc., it opens spiritual channels that set in motion a movement of abundance that circulates around and comes back to us in profound and indirect ways.

Giving is like planting seeds. We have to actually plant the seeds if we expect to receive a harvest. And if we plant a small amount, we receive a small harvest; plant a large amount and we receive a large harvest.

Give Abundantly and Live Abundantly

We can give abundantly and live abundantly. Remember also, that you are rich in the respect that you have a spirit that is inexhaustible. So let no mean attitude or selfish thought keep you from sharing this spirit. Be a generous giver at heart and in all you do.

Manifesting an abundant harvest requires planting the seed first. Who would expect a farmer to reap a harvest without having planted seed months earlier? As believers operating by faith, we also need to follow this example; naturally and spiritually.

What is the secret to getting this process going?

2 Great Faith Secrets to Planting Seed

Jesus tells us how to plant the seed of faith. He tells us in Luke 17 that if we had faith as a seed, we would speak to the situation or problem area in our life. He gives us two great faith secrets: One; that faith works like a seed, and two; the way to plant it is to speak it.

"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." -- Matthew 17:20

In order to manifest a harvest we have to plant the seed by speaking. Our faith must be mixed with the promised seed of God's Word. The life is in the seed and the way to plant it is by saying it, speaking it, proclaiming it.

The Law of Seedtime and Harvest

Many people don't know how they got in the mess they are in. However, most of the time, the problem is their mouth. Their mouth can deceive their heart. What we say is what we sow, and too often we are sowing the exact thing we do not want!

Have you ever heard the following?: 'We're going broke,' 'I never have enough,' 'I can never get ahead,' 'Nothing ever works out for me,' 'I'm afraid I'll lose my job,' 'I always get sick.'

Speaking and praying the things we don't want only opens the door to fear, and then fear replaces our faith. The things we say are the things we will reap. This really is no great secret.

"Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap." -- Galatians 6:7

Seedtime and harvest also needs to take into account the time factor. Sowing is a process. Sure, there will be some who are highly developed in their faith and see the manifestation of some things very quickly. But the normal way of faith and confession is to start sowing weeks and months before the time the harvest is needed; just like the farmer that plans and prepares ahead of time.

Manifesting an Abundant Harvest

The kingdom within you has been sown with the seed of what you have been speaking. And the sowing and reaping process works for you just as it does for the farmer who goes to sleep, and gets up, and the ground brings forth the fruit.

Begin sowing seeds of abundance by sowing something such as:

"My God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus; I have abundance and prosper; because I have given, it is given unto me good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over."

You say and sow these incorruptible seeds concerning finances, and then while you are sleeping, they go to work to manifest a harvest in your life.

Do yourself a favor: Take the promises of God's Word and mix your faith with them. Mix your faith with the Word and plant it in your heart by speaking it. The life is in the seed; in the promise of God. So if you plant the promises of God in your heart, you can expect to manifest an abundant harvest.

Right off the bat, be settled in the fact that it is God's plan that you prosper. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God has plans to prosper you and give you a hope and future. Be settled in that truth whether you are on the mountain top or in the valley. God said it, so it's settled and that's that.

Just because you are going through a tough time doesn't mean God changed His mind.

Of course the enemy would sure like you to believe that. If satan can get your eyes off God and turned toward him, he is pleased. And if he can then get you to start running your mouth against God and begin speaking his lies, he's got you hook, line, and sinker.

What are You Thinking on and Speaking on?

"For as he thinks in his heart so is he." - Proverbs 23:7

Don't be fooled: The dominate thoughts of your heart are what you can expect to come to pass in your life. Make sure they are filled with the truth of God's Word!

Why do you think God puts such a great importance on meditating on His Word?

We are to renew our mind daily for a reason. The Word of God will guide you in all truth and keep you on the right path if you'll get it planted in your heart and coming out your mouth. Fill yourself up with God's Word and give the enemy no place.

The key to resist the enemy and attract growing prosperity is to start speaking the truth of God's Word in your life.

Growing Prosperity comes with a growing faith. Are you, like many believers, overwhelmed with living by faith? Does it seem too hard to live in the lifestyle God has laid out?

Really it is a whole lot easier to do what God says, because then we do not have to figure it all out our self. We do not have to worry and stress. There is peace in taking it one day at a time.

God has already made available a great abundant provision for us. Manifesting growing prosperity in our lives simply requires living by faith and obeying God's steps to receive. And this requires getting control of our thought life right from the start.

Renewed Thinking

The New Year is always a great time to get a fresh perspective and start anew. But we don't have to wait until the first of every year. Today is always a great day to renew our thinking.

God never intended living by faith and acting on His Word to overwhelm us. We need to refuse to think God's ways are too hard.

When we have a positive outlook it is much easier for God to help us out, because He doesn't have to fight our mind so much! And, we are able to adjust to life changes a lot easier.

We need to be of the mindset that:

It is easy to live debt-free.
It is easy to live healed.
It is easy to walk in love.

We need to get into the Word and let it stir our faith and let the Word start renewing our mind in the areas we struggle with - so that we not only see it is possible, but inevitable. The Word of God will work!

Abundant Provision of God

I'm sure that just like me, what you want is to live in the abundant provision God has made available to us.

Living in the abundance of God requires action on our part. However, before we can act and be successful, we have to be thinking right. Right thinking allows us to act on the Word and receive what God has for us sooner.

It is not that hard to believe God!

Spend time with God and let Him refresh you. Let God be God of every area of your life - spiritually, physically, and financially. Then He can bless you in all those areas.

Biblical prayer and meditation example, from Ephesians 2:19-21, on the abundance of God:

"I pray that you may know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory throughout all ages. Amen."

Bottom line is that every day is an opportunity to renew our minds with God's Word, act on it, and grow closer to Him. Are you ready for renewed thinking to live in the abundant provision of God?

The spiritual law of confession: Few people realize that the spiritual law of confession rules us. I'm referring to the things we speak, talk about, say, and confess every day.

Regardless of who we are, we'll never rise above our confessions. And here is where it gets really interesting: We all get to choose the confessions of our mouth. It is our choice.

"You are snared (trapped) with the words of your mouth." - Proverbs 6:2

How Do You Maximize this Ruling Force and Manifest Prosperity?

Confess what you believe in your heart: The key to maximizing this force is realizing the power is in confessing what we believe in our heart, not our head.

Jesus tells us we can have anything we SAY as long as we believe in our HEART (spirit) and CONFESS it with our mouth. (Mark 11:23)

Having a head full of beliefs and knowledge is like having a bag full of seeds. They both hold a great untapped potential harvest. However, we will not reap a harvest in life without planting the seeds.

To manifest results, the head knowledge we have must be planted in our heart and applied to our lives.

How do we get the knowledge that is in our heads planted in our hearts?

Again the answer is that we must speak it - confess it.

Speak out loud the thoughts and beliefs you wish to manifest. There is great, often overlooked power, in the spoken word.

Keep in mind: at first we may only be speaking head knowledge. We may only understand or believe something to be true in our mind. But the real power is in confessing what we want so it gets planted in our heart and we in turn believe it in our heart.

The good news is that when we continue to confess, what we now believe in our heart (spirit), we will begin to see the manifestation of those beliefs in our life.

"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." - Luke 6:45

A word of warning: The spiritual law of confession works for both good and bad. So only confess positive if you want to reap positive results. If you are like me, this can be a challenge at times, but one worth conquering.

There is a reason Jesus put such a great emphasis on the fact that we can have what we say, speak, and confess with our mouth and believe in our heart. The same steps we take to receive eternal salvation in Christ; believe with our heart and confess with our mouth, are the same steps we take to manifest prosperity and abundance in all areas of life.

Hopefully by now you are convinced: There are many benefits to mastering our confessions and tapping into the power of the spoken word. It plays a vital role in every area of our lives. Start today. Choose carefully the words you allow your mouth to speak. Maximize this powerful force that can manifest prosperity and begin to seize the abundant rich life.

1.) Allow the Spirit of God to Reveal - Let the Spirit of God help you know what has been freely given to us. God reveals to us by His Spirit; the things He prepared for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9-10, 12)

2.) Live a Life of Excellence - Be determined to live a life of excellence and go all the way up the mountain! Don't live a mediocre life and be content to only go half-way.

3.) Get in The Word - It is the Word of God that gets on us and in us that creates success. Get in the Word and do what it says and your journey will become prosperous and you will have good success in life. (Joshua 1:8)

4.) Catch the Vision - Be a person of vision and dare to do things others aren't willing to try. Have an eye of an eagle to see a far off. Living by faith requires using our spiritual vision to see what has not yet manifested in the natural. Wait on God to get your vision. (Habakkuk 2:1-2)

5.) Understand Your True Identity - Know who you are, the authority you have, and the promises made available to you because you are in Christ. There are over 130 "In Him" and "In Christ" verses in the Bible that help you with this. Dig them out and discover what you have been missing!

6.) Live in Victory - Have wings to soar like an eagle above the storms that come. Overcome the accuser by the testimony of the blood of Jesus in your life. Submit yourself to God and resist the devil to make him flee from you. (Revelation 12:11, James 4:7)

7.) Pray Always - Be a person of prayer. Build yourself up spiritually before you do anything. And in everything we do it should be by prayer. (Philippians 4:6)

Why not choose to live in the high places of God? God wants His children to have the very best.

Your journey on earth and your journey to heaven can be thrilling! Do not settle for anything less than the very best.

And don't be fooled; wishing and hoping does not result in blessings.

Bottom line: God's dealings with people are always based on covenant. Discover what belongs to you and claim your inheritance by opening The Book, praying, and listening to God. God will let you know what to do. Just call on Him and act on His Word by faith and enjoy abundant living.

During this past year, while everyone was so worried about the stock market, I and many other people made quite a bit of money, because there was an opportunity almost everywhere that you could look. Sure, the people on the news were saying how bad it was, but in reality, a LOT of people made a lot of money.

The point is, you have to be able to see those opportunities when other people do not.

2. Whatever You Want, You Deserve

Don't tell me or anybody that you don't deserve what you want. Whether it be riches or anything intangible, you deserve to have it because you deserve joy and happiness. Don't go thinking about how not deserving you are of the good things life has to offer. We are all created equal and we are all here for a reason, and that is to experience joy.

3. Take the Abundance that Have Always Been Yours

Abundance and prosperity have always been yours for the taking. All you have to do, simply take it. Now how do you do that? By attracting it into your life. Enjoy abundance in your imagination and live your life as if you are already living an abundant life. That way, the universe can't help but to give you what you want - in record speed.

Now that you are aware of your true power, what are you waiting for? Attract the life that you want by aligning your thoughts with your emotions. Feel good now. 3 Keys to Abundant Living

Living abundantly is something I believe everyone aspires to. Yet, very few people truly live an abundant life. Rising poverty, divorce and unemployment rates speaks of more and more people not living a prosperous and abundant life.

Part of the problem is most people are turning their attention to the wrong thing. After seeing movies and reading books like The Secret, there is this misconception about manifesting prosperity. Firstly, prosperity is and never was about money; and so many are focused on the money. Money is a means to the end, not the end itself. In the book Spiritual Economics, author Eric Butterworth defines prosperity as "to go forward hopefully." Prosperity is not just having money or material things, but prosperity is a way of living and thinking.

The other part of the problem is not knowing what you truly desire and continuously focusing on what you absolutely do not want. As you know, where your attention goes, that is where your energy flows. Yes, it is helpful to know what you do not want in order to solidify what you do want. But do not camp out where you do not want to remain. When you have figured out what you do want, there are three keys you can use to create a life of abundance and prosperity.

Decide

The first key is to make the decision. So often you have the ideas floating around in your head to be, do, and have something; yet you don't make the decision to be, do or have it. When you make the decision to be, do, or have something, you unlock the door to universal partnership - opportunities come along that weren't there before, resources are placed in your path, and you manifest from a more conscious guidance.

Ask

The second key is to ask for what you wish to be, do or have. This is a neglected step. I think we just assume that if it's floating around in our heads then that's enough. Asking is declaring with inspired intention. When you ask for what it is you wish to be, do or have, you are also in a state of allowing. You are allowing your Divine partnership to create the next steps for you. You do not have to figure out how to make it happen. In fact, my advice is to stay out of the "how" as it only creates blocks of fear, worry and doubt. When you ask, you can then let go. You will be guided as to your next inspired action steps to take.

Receive

The final key is to receive. This may seem obvious but we often block the flow with not believing we will receive what we want to be, do or have. So when it does show up - in one form or another - we do not accept it. We will rationalize it away, and then sulk into a state of disappointment and disbelief.

The key to manifesting prosperity and living an abundant life is truly within your reach if you would only decide, ask and receive.

Everyone is Meant to Be Abundant

Have you ever wondered why some people just seem to be born with a lucky streak? Everything they do seems effortless and they seem to always be in the right place at the right time. Or you may know someone who has a knack for growing money somehow. They just seem to have the King Midas touch. And then, do you begin to wonder why they seem to get it all and you have to work hard in order to have what you have -- and even then it doesn't feel as if you are making ends meet? Well we're going to break the code for you so that you can share in the abundance of life and continually experience that lucky streak for yourself.

Let's start here. The world we live in is full of abundance. All you have to do is look around at nature. There is an abundance of birds, trees, animals, grass, sky, clouds, and anything else you may look at in nature. Sure, there may be a few extinct animals and plants along the way but that is part of a cycle of this physical world. It is changing and therefore things change, but somewhere in the world there is always abundance somewhere. This abundance was given to us as humans and where it gets a bit tricky is when we begin noticing only the lack of what is in this world.

Here's an example: The news tells you that there is a lack in the world right at this very moment in the economy. They let you know how truly hard it is going to get and show you pictures of some of the people it is affecting. You see it, you recognize the lack, and then you begin to focus on the lack over and over again. In the Law of Attraction, whenever you focus over and over again, you emit those thoughts and feelings of lack and the Universe provides you with a similar form of lack.

Now let's say you tune in the 'good' news station (is there such a thing?) where all they talk about is how abundant life is. They let you know that a new species of animal has been found that no one ever knew about and that there are certain towns that are keeping a steady flow of abundance in their lives no matter what seems to be happening around them in the economy. If you watch the good news channel then you will experience the thoughts of abundance instead of a thought of lack.

As you can see what is around you and what you think about is what you tend to base your life on. Not only are there negative news stations, there are 'lack' people and situations that present themselves to you that may give you the perception of continued lack. Before this physical experience you came from an abundant world where every need was met through your own consciousness. And coming here to experience a physical life, the consciousness of abundance is still within you.

When you take a moment to feel and listen to the inner you, you will be able to feel that sense of security, peace, and abundance that is connected to everything in this world including abundance. As you begin to shift your focus from the lack mentality to the one of abundance you will find that life will begin to change. Instead of listening to the lack news station (logical mind), begin listening to the abundant news station (inner self) and you will start to experience a shift of thought. Search out what is abundant in your life and be grateful for what you have and then take it a step further and realize that we were intended to be abundant. Everything that is around you in this world can be abundant if you shift your mind to begin seeing abundance instead of lack. If you don't have enough of something, visualize having more than enough of it and then start looking around you to see what else there is that is abundant.

All the abundance that you can find will give you the wonderful feeling of having more than enough and those feelings, mixed with your own abundant thoughts, will bring more abundance in to your life via the Law of Attraction. If your mind wanders and picks up how there is never enough, stop! Then shift your mind to what there is enough of. You can do this on the freeway while stuck in traffic. There's an abundance of something for you... Cars! Keep shifting your mind to the life that you are intended to have; the life full of abundant positive things, people, and situations. You have it right now. It all lies right within you. It takes only you to change to a life of abundance. You deserve it, it is your divine right, and life is meant to be enjoyed... Abundantly!

Abundant Thinking - Will You Be Wealthy If You Win the Lottery This Week?

Abundance is something we can all tap into. The prosperous, wealthy life is about money and finances, but, and make that a big but, it does not start or stop there.

So the question is: If you were to win the lottery today, or come into some great unexpected inheritance, of say five million dollars, would you be wealthy?

It is commonly known that the majority of lottery winners end up right back where they started or sometimes in even worst conditions. A large sum of money, suddenly deposited into your bank account does not make you wealthy. It only adds some extra zeros to your account balance for a certain amount of time.

Money Is Not All It Takes To Be Wealthy

Are you saying about now "Just show me the money and I'll be happy."?

Money is a critical part of wealth and we all need it to live on. I agree. Nobody likes to be broke. However, as important as money is, it is only a part of wealth.

Prosperity consciousness involves adopting a mindset that leads to a life of thriving, success, good fortune, happiness and health. It is cultivated by choosing thoughts that affirm the infinite abundance of the Universe, and releasing negative beliefs systems that perpetuate the appearance of lack.

Prosperity and abundance is your birthright, although you might be sabotaging your ability to attract it to you by harboring negative thoughts that keep it just out of reach. I have highlighted five key ingredients needed to unleash the wellspring of prosperity that is waiting at your doorstep.

1. Release Any Limiting Beliefs About Money

Many of the beliefs we have about money are handed down to us by our family members. Taking a personal inventory of your beliefs about money can be very enlightening. Maybe you were taught that "money is the root of all evil" or "there is never enough to go around" or "having money isn't spiritual".

When you become aware of negative thought patterns you hold surrounding the topic of money, you are now in a position to turn your negative thoughts into positive affirmations. Releasing limiting beliefs about money opens the doorway to the infinite abundance available to you at all times.

2. Realize Prosperity Comes In Many Forms

Prosperity is the condition of enjoying abundance, success and good fortune. It is so much more than simply having money in the bank. Holding a newborn baby, watching a sunset on the beach, and spending time with your best friend are only a few examples of the fruits of an abundant life.

Take some time to look around and notice the myriad of ways the Universe has blessed you with abundance. Prosperity consciousness is more about how you feel about your life than about what you have in the way of material possessions. Expectations sabotage your ability to be truly open to a multitude of avenues of prosperity and abundance. If your good has to come to you in a specific manner in order for you to recognize it and appreciate it, you might be waiting a long time.

By releasing any expectations over HOW and WHEN prosperity will show up in your life, you open the door for miracles to unfold in the present moment without being attached to the outcome. Focusing your attention on the effort you put forth in any situation while simultaneously releasing your attachment to the outcome is very freeing. It allows the Universe to handle the details from a broader perspective and keeps your attention in the present moment.

5. Bless and Prosper Those Around You

If you are critical of people who have money you are unknowingly creating a stopgap in your ability to receive greater amounts of prosperity. Universal law dictates that you get back what you give in life. You can't complain about the over privileged upper class and concomitantly attract more prosperity to yourself in the process. It doesn't work that way.

Instead of criticizing those who have more than you get into the habit of blessing those around by wishing them a prosperous and happy life. Reveling in the good fortune of others automatically attunes you to the same good fortune. What you want for others you also want for yourself.

When we plant ourselves firmly in God's Word, we tap into His streams of living water and find that everything we do is fruitful. So instead of running on a treadmill going nowhere and watching things around us wither, everything we do will prosper. (Psalm 1:3)
