Living in Abundance

When you saw the title did you assume this article was about money? Many people associate abundance, wealth and prosperity with the financial side of life but it's much more than that. We're going to look at your own abundance, define the types of abundance and work out how you can feel more abundant across your whole life.

Do you have abundance?

Abundance is generally considered a positive word. In basic terms it means 'a lot of a good thing'. So do you feel you have abundance in your life? I want you to take a piece of paper and a pen right now and write down every area of your life where you feel you have abundance.

Okay, now that you've done that, did you find the task easy or difficult?

Those of you who found the task easier and found several areas of abundance in your life will tend to have a greater understanding of what abundance truly is. Perhaps you included emotions and things that make you happy as well as the concrete, material things we usually associate with abundance. For instance, you may feel you have an abundance of love or joy in your family life, or an abundance of beauty in your home because you've created the feel and comfort you desire in the place you spend much of your time. Do you have an abundance of time to do the things you enjoy or simply an abundance of happiness and contentment with your life in general?

Those of you who struggled to think of where you have abundance in your life may be more disconnected with the true notion of abundance and this is quite common in our materially-focused world. Your abundance, or lack of it, comes not from your opportunities to make money but from the way you perceive abundance and the way you perceive yourself more about that further on.

Perhaps you have a long list but they are all material things a great car, the latest technological gadgets, lots of money in the bank, a great house, a wardrobe full of expensive clothes, etc. So the task may have appeared easy, but your view of abundance is incomplete and may lead to discontentment in the long-term.

Defining Abundance

According to Dictionary.com, abundance relates to three areas:

an extremely plentiful or over sufficient quantity or supply: an abundance of grain.

overflowing fullness: abundance of the heart.

affluence; wealth: the enjoyment of abundance.

Definition one relates to material abundance - when we have plenty of something such as money and possessions. This can be anything from food to an abundance of shoes in your wardrobe! Material abundance is the easiest to focus on because it's external and requires little more than acquiring 'things'. It's important to point out here that money in itself is not a negative thing but tends to have many negative associations. By changing how you perceive money, and by managing it correctly and wisely, you can actually increase your financial abundance. See the section on affirmations below.

Definition two relates to emotional abundance, where your heart overflows with love, or you feel full of contentment, compassion, and so on with yourself and others. This side of abundance comes from within you and is therefore not as easy to acquire. It requires loving yourself and opening yourself up to the world because unless you can feel an abundance of love towards yourself you will find it difficult to receive an abundance of love from others.

I love the third definition that points out that wealth, for example, is not a state in itself but the enjoyment of what you have. You may need to examine your mindset and redefine what 'wealth' is to you it relates not just to material abundance but to your emotional abundance as well. Recognize where in your life you already have abundance and identify what will truly make you feel you have abundance.

Knowing when you've achieved abundance

As you can see, abundance is not so much about what we've acquired as it is about a feeling of contentment, satisfaction and happiness. I believe that when we are in a true state of abundance we are keen to share that abundance with others. When we've achieved that state of 'overflow' we have enough to give to others and this can be in the form of both material and emotional contributions. However, if you feel you 'need' more or that you're still 'lacking' something, then you're not yet feeling abundant.

Think about this, the same two people living within the exact same means, same house, same possessions, same career, state of health and family life can have two very different perceptions. One can feel grateful for the abundance they have and feel very satisfied with their life. While the other person can feel they are living at the bottom of their means and are not satisfied with what they have. It's all about how you choose to think. What are you going to choose?

How to Achieve Abundance

Now that you have a more complete view of abundance, you may be wondering exactly what you can do to recognise it and welcome it into your life. Here are some ideas:

Honor Yourself

Before anything else you need to believe that you are worthy of abundance. Begin with the list you already created and examine your beliefs about wealth, money, happiness and abundance because it's all tied together. Feeling that you don't deserve these things may be your biggest block to having positive things come into your life. The following ideas will help you work on identifying your reality and honoring yourself and your life.

Gratitude Journal

I suggest you start a gratitude journal. This is something that has become popular since Sarah Ban Breathnach wrote "Simple Abundance". Buy yourself a nice blank notebook and at the end of each day, write down at least three things you are grateful for (aim for 5) from your day. This will help you recognise the things in your life that are positive and will help to change your way of thinking from one of 'lacking' to one of 'abundance'. There's a lot we take for granted and focusing your attention on the tiniest of good things in your life will help you put things into perspective. Even if things seem dire at this point in time, you can choose to be grateful for the basics such as the food you have to eat, the clothes on your back and the roof over your head. A gratitude journal will help you focus on what you have rather than what you don't have.

Affirmations

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you change the way you think about something, especially yourself. Find or create some affirmations and say them to yourself several times a day, at least when you wake up and before going to bed. Place the affirmations in prominent locations so you are reminded to read them and try to really feel them. By phrasing them in the present ("I am..." or "I have..."), you allow your mind to connect with the statement and implement it, whereas creating a phrase that is in the future ("I will..." or "I want to...") tells your mind that it's only a possibility. Here are some examples of positive affirmations relating to abundance:

"I allow abundance to flow through me."
"I am prosperous."
"I am physically, emotionally and spiritually wealthy."
"My life is filled with positive abundance. All of my needs are met and more."
"I am open and receptive to all the good and abundance in the universe."
"I always find an abundance of things to love about my life, myself, and all those around me."

Be of Service

Look at the world, your local community and your neighbors. What do they need that you can give? Even if it's something small, knowing that you can help others can put things into perspective and make you realise what's most important to you. You could volunteer your time in the children's ward at your local hospital, visit with the elderly in nursing homes and listen to their stories, make a meal for your sick neighbor, donate a few dollars a week or month to causes close to your heart and so on. This act works on the universal law that what you send out comes back to you. Give of yourself and the world will give back to you.

There is no reason that you should not have abundance flow to you. The universe is waiting for you to allow it to give to you, so open up your mind and heart and see what can happen!

Abundant Living - Prosperity Destroys Fools! So Why Don't You Wise Up and Prosper?

Abundant living requires handling the affairs of life wisely. Yes, I know, prosperity occasionally falls in the laps of some individuals; for example, they may get an unexpected inheritance or win the lottery. However, we all know that if these individuals are fools, the prosperity will destroy them.

Prosperity Destroys Fools

"The prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoever hearkens unto Me shall dwell safely." - Proverbs 1:32-33

Some argue against being prosperous, and their reason is that 'prosperity will destroy you.' But the Bible says it will destroy a fool. So don't be a fool.

How do we keep from being fools? Joshua 1:8 tells us that if we follow God's method and confess the Word of God, then we will make our way prosperous, and deal wisely in all the affairs of life and have good success.

Wise Up and Prosper

Prosperity is a blessing if it is acquired God's way. A powerful way of keeping in line with God's methods and activating His Word is through confessing it.

Now, sometimes people hear this and get crazy ideas about what this means. But all confessing really means is, speaking the Word of God out loud so you can hear yourself saying it. In order for us to succeed we must confess it out loud. This allows us to hear our own voices and that brings faith, because faith comes by hearing.

As we confess and affirm the Word of God, what we are doing is setting goals, and planting seeds in our hearts. How can we expect to get something or somewhere if we don't know what we want or where we are going? We establish God's goals with His principles when we confess the Word of God. This in turn puts us on track to manifesting the abundance of God in our lives as the planted seeds soon become growing prosperity.

Positive Confessions for Abundant Living

Confessing what the Word of God says about you will change your life. Even the most negative people have gotten results after only putting this into practice for a few short months.

Keep in mind, when you first start speaking some of the things God says about you, you may feel like it's the biggest lie that ever came out of your mouth. But the Word of God reflects the way He sees us, and confessing it helps us see and think about ourselves the same way God does.

Find a truth in God's Word that pertains to your situation and make it into a confession. For example:

'My God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus and whatever I do prospers, for I am like a tree planted by the rivers of living water.'

It's hard to imagine the impact this has on a person until they've confessed it every day for at least a month. Confessing the truth of the Word is calling things that are not as though they were and calling them into manifestation. Allow the will of God concerning you to manifest in your life.

So go ahead; put this to the test right away. God's Word is living and powerful and when confessed will change you. The wisdom of God will empower you to handle all the affairs of life wisely so you can manifest and enjoy abundant living.

May you wise up to God's ways and live a life of growing prosperity!

Prosperous Living - How to Break the Poverty Cycle and Manifest the Abundance of God!

Prosperous living does not have to be out of your reach. If you are on a treadmill of poverty and lack, I have good news for you today. You can get off the road that leads to lack and start heading down the road that leads to prosperity.

So you've been busy, busy, busy - working hard, but getting nowhere. Not very satisfying is it?

God has plans to prosper you and give you a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) He wants you to prosper, and He has empowered you with the ability to do just that.

Doesn't it make sense to get some positive results out of your efforts? If you answered yes, then you will be glad to know that you can; starting today.

Manage Your Mind to Prosper

The trick to living life to the fullest is learning to program your mind for success.

When your thoughts line up with plans of success and prosperity long enough, eventually your actions follow suite.

"Tis the mind that makes the body rich." - Shakespeare

Are You Thinking?

That may seem like a silly question, but unfortunately there appears to be a group of people that go through life and avoid using their minds. Their lives become a routine that requires little conscious effort.

They choose jobs, entertainment, and pastimes that purposely do not challenge their intellect. When they do share thoughts it tends to be about what they saw on TV or gossip about others. The trivia question on the back of the cereal box is a major accomplishment.

What Are You Thinking About?

What you think, you are. (Proverbs 23:7)

God places a great emphasis on renewing our minds daily. What we think about is vitally important to the results we get in life. Like the saying goes; "Garbage in, garbage out."

We are limited only by the obstacles we create in our minds.

Decide to succeed and set goals to reach your desire. Take some time to work out a plan to reach each goal. Discipline yourself to keep your mind focused on what you want to achieve.

Remember, your mind and heart plans your way, but the Lord directs your steps. (Proverbs 16:9) We need to make sure we acknowledge God every step of the way.

How Are You Thinking?

We have the choice to program our conscious minds with positive, affirmative beliefs. We can think positive and hopeful and chose a victory minded attitude.

Your subconscious mind takes these messages as fact and goes to work making them a reality in your life.

Don't short-circuit your success with a negative self-inflicted defeated image of yourself. Have the attitude of the Apostle Paul and say, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

You can tap into the abundance of God.

I think you get the point. What we think and how we think is shaping our future. Prosperous thinking equals prosperous living. God doesn't want to see our lives going in circles in the desert when He has a great abundance prepared and waiting for us. Manage your mind to step into prosperous living.

May your mind be renewed daily by the Word of God and result in a life of growing prosperity!

Abundant Living - Top 10 Reasons Why a Partnership With God is Critical!

Abundant living is possible. Is your life currently a far cry from abundance? Are you experiencing unemployment, job loss, debt, sickness, anxiety, marriage troubles, depression, and similar hardships, and ready to through in the towel?

Hear this: Do NOT quit!

Regardless of your situation, there is One who has the ability to move you from the painful pit of poverty and despair to the highest mountain top of prosperous living.

Living a full prosperous life in spirit, mind, and body requires partnership with God, the creator and source of all. Life takes on a whole new meaning and a higher power when we live in constant realization of our at-one-ment with our Creator, our partnership with the loving, good God.

Top 10 Reasons Why Your Partnership with God is Critical for Living the Abundant Life:

1) STRENGTH - The nearer you are to God the greater your strength. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. (Isaiah 40:31)

2) POWER to CREATE and INVENT - A closer relationship and consciousness with God, provides more power to create and invent because you draw upon the limitless resources of an unlimited God. His power works through us to glorify His name. (Romans 9:17)

3) WISDOM - Your partnership, with the God of infinite wisdom, allows you to tap into His wisdom. He says if we lack wisdom to ask and He will give it to us generously. (James 1:5)

4) HOPE - Realization of your divine partnership with God will enlarge your life and multiply your effectiveness with hope in Him. It will take away feelings of hopelessness, uncertainty and inability to overcome the storms of life. God's plans are to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

5) NO FEAR - When you take God into full, complete partnership, you will not fear. Your life's ventures cannot end in disappointment. With God we are led into abundant pastures, beside still waters, and He says we will fear no evil. (Psalm 23)

6) MIRACLES - As God's partner, He is able to perform miracles through us. Every great artist, writer, inventor, or healer that has done a miraculous thing, is conscious of the greater divine source of God working through them. God can make your tongue as the pen of a skilled writer. (Psalm 45:1)

7) SUCCESS & HAPPINESS - To have real success requires taking God into partnership and lining up your purpose and ambitions with His will. When your career and life does not run counter to God's plan, but is in tune and contributes and benefits society, your cooperation will bring true happiness and success. In Him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28)

8) HONESTY - Taking God into partnership means that you must not only be honest, but that you must be robustly honest. You cannot lie, cheat, steal, or take advantage of anyone. It is impossible for God to lie. (Hebrews 6:18)

9) LOVE - Partnership with God requires walking in love and loving Him. God is a god of love and what is life without love? God tells us to do all things in love and that love never fails. We are told that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord. (Romans 8:28)

10) PEACE - When you take God into partnership, and you are conscious of doing His work, you have a life of peace and security. With God's great light in your life you can feel safe and reassured that you will not lose your way. We are told the Lord will bless his people with peace. (Psalm 29:11)

I could go on and on. The fact is, with God as your partner you will have a new zest in life to attain the higher things that are worthwhile and of eternal value. Working in harmony with God allows you to inherit the best from the King of kings and enjoy a prosperous and abundant life.

May your partnership with God bring you growing prosperity!

Live to Give - Do You Understand This Secret for Abundant Living and Growing Prosperity?

Abundant living comes when we live to give. One of the main 'secrets' of abundant living is: The art of giving. Don't let a spirit of fear prevent you from giving and keep you in lack.

But if I Give I'll Have Less

Unfortunately, a common belief many people have is that giving a portion of what they have will result in having less. Bear in mind, this belief causes many folks to live in fear of giving, and a lack of giving in turn prevents the flow of abundance in a person's life.

Okay, okay. I hear you saying, "But, wait a minute. If I have 20 dollars and I give away 10, now I only have 10."

Yes, this is true. In the natural 20 minus 10 equals 10, so in the short-term we may seem to have less. This is the same as a farmer who after planting his seed may seem to have less. But bear with me a little longer; because, giving is a spiritual principle and it has the ability to change our spiritual and natural situation. When we give we are like the farmer who plants and tends his seed; then after some time receives his harvest.

"Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you give it shall be measured back to you." -- Luke 6:38

The More You Give, The More You Have

The paradox of life is that the more you give, the more you have. We see this explained in the previously quoted verse. This verse gives an image of super-abundance. We can open a floodgate of blessings into our lives by giving to others freely.

The thing is, when we give money, forgiveness, love, etc., it opens spiritual channels that set in motion a movement of abundance that circulates around and comes back to us in profound and indirect ways.

Giving is like planting seeds. We have to actually plant the seeds if we expect to receive a harvest. And if we plant a small amount, we receive a small harvest; plant a large amount and we receive a large harvest.

Give Abundantly and Live Abundantly

We can give abundantly and live abundantly. Remember also, that you are rich in the respect that you have a spirit that is inexhaustible. So let no mean attitude or selfish thought keep you from sharing this spirit. Be a generous giver at heart and in all you do.

"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." -- Winston Churchill

Mark my words: Life will take on a whole new meaning for you as you live to give. Give and keep giving. Give from the heart; of your time, money, comfort, and resources. Then don't be surprised as you begin to live abundantly.

May you live to give and learn this secret for abundant living and growing prosperity!

Prosperous Living - Does God Want You to Prosper and Live in Abundance?

Prosperous living is a choice you can make. If your life is in chaos and a big mess of bills and debt; it probably feels like God does not want you to prosper. Do not be discouraged: God wants you to be blessed and live in abundance.

Once we grasp the fact that God wants us to prosper, we can begin to turn things around.

God Wants You to Be Prosperous

It is important to know that God wants His children to be blessed. Look at the following message He gave us and you'll see what I mean.

"Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers." - 3 John 2

Think about it: Just like a good father wants to provide for his natural children, our heavenly Father wants to prosper us. He wants us to always have what we need, and yet also be blessed to be a blessing to others.

Get Your Mind Prospering

This was like an undiscovered diamond to me for sure: The amount of prosperity we manifest and enjoy is directly related to how much of the Word of God we have put in our heart (spirit). This starts with filling our mind (soul) with these truths and then as we think and speak them they get planted in our heart.

What's the explanation for this? The more of these truths we have in our heart, the stronger our beliefs and the greater our faith will be.

And here is where it gets really interesting: The greater our faith, the more we will be able to look to God as the source of our prosperity and tap into His supply.

As a result, we will trust that He will not withhold any good thing from us. He is just waiting for us to get in a position to receive so He can bless us. And it just continues to get better, because when we get blessed, we in turn can be a blessing to others!

No doubt about it: The abundance of God is a never ending supply. God's greatest desire for His people is that we walk in the fullness of His prosperity. In order for us to prosper we must first be sure our soul is prospering. Soon we will experience the abundance of God and prosperous living.

May your soul prosper and your life be full of growing prosperity!

Tithing: The Active Ingredient in Living a Prosperous Life

True prosperity has a spiritual basis. "God is the Source of your supply." So states Catherine Ponder in her wonderful book The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity. Just as we engage God through prayer for that which we claim to be true, and we connect with God spiritually through the practice of meditation, so too do we give the GIFT of Tithing to consistently keep in touch with the Infinite Source of our supply, God.

"Systematic giving opens the way to systematic receiving," according to Dr. Ponder. Giving to God 10% of that which we have received to persons or places where you are receiving your spiritual nourishment allows you to enjoy true prosperity with wondrous results.

The practice of the ancient law of prosperity is as old as we are as a species. From primitive man who offered sacrifices to his gods to evolving civilizations of Egyptians, Babylonians and Arabians, Greeks, Romans and Chinese, tithing (the word "tithe" means "tenth") was a way of life. "The ancients intuitively knew that giving, sharing and putting God first financially was the first step to permanent, enduring prosperity," writes author Ponder. They felt that ten was the magic number of increase.

Some of the most prominent millionaires of the twentieth century attributed their extraordinary success to the practice of tithing. Catherine Ponder reports, "In 1855, as a young man, John D. Rockefeller began tithing. His total income for that year was $95.00 from which he tithed $9.50 to his church." However, she goes on to say, "between 1855 and 1934, he gave away $531 million dollars. His standard reply to critics of his generosity was 'God gave me my money.'"

So many of the plans for becoming wealthy and rich focus on "getting" and forget about "giving." These schemes are not based on a spiritual foundation. When God is in the equation, wealth (meaning well-being and wholeness) is assured.

So what are we really doing when we are giving the GIFT of Tithing? We are saying, "Thank you, God" for the generous bounty that we have received. I recently read the most revealing paragraph in Joel Goldsmith's book, Consciousness Transformed. In it he states: "A mistake has been made on the subject of tithing. Since it was discovered that those who tithe never know lack or limitation, it was believed that if you would teach this to people, they would always be prosperous," writes the founder of the Infinite Way. "This is not true," he continues. "Tithing is something that can only take place when individuals receive inwardly the realization of what great gifts of God they have received, and in gratitude decide to share some part of it," Joel says. "This sharing is just with the idea of thankfulness for the realization of God's grace, and it is for this reason that those who spontaneously come to tithe are always generously and abundantly provided for," Mr. Goldsmith concludes. Tithing is the active ingredient of Gratitude that prospers not only the tither but the recipient of the tithe as well.

Tithing is the act of giving gratitude for the 100% we received by leaving 10% with our Source-that is, the person(s) or place(s) where we realize the Presence of God in our lives. Traditionally tithing has been associated with giving to the place of worship to which we belong. Often, "theologians have tended to stress what tithing would do for the church, instead of what it could do for the tither," says Dr. Catherine Ponder. Yet, upon closer examination of Tithing as a spiritual practice (not a mechanical one of obligation), we can only conclude that it is the individual who will be prospered and blessed through tithing. Naturally, the recipient will be too, since it's all God.

There are countless stories about the financial, prosperous success that comes from giving the GIFT of Tithing. "Since I have been tithing, I have more money to spend, not less," reports one student of this class. "I put in my tithe last week and suddenly the check that I have been expecting for months came in the mail." "Since the start of this class and my stepping into giving the GIFT of Tithing, my house sold." The stories go on and on. I have also heard this one repeated: "I was thriving financially and in so many ways when I was in class, but I stopped Tithing after it was over and I'm back in the same 'soup' I was in before."

So what can you expect when you begin to give the GIFT of Tithing?

o Fear usually shows up. I don't have enough now. How can I possibly...?

o Memories of previous associations with the word "tithe" may surface.

o Trust will become the plank to walk when beginning this practice.

o Surprise may ensue when you notice the amount of money you have to use after giving 10% to God.

o Doubt may surface when the above is not the immediate experience or when unexpected expenses show up instead.

o You may be surprised at the wisdom and judgment you are using to manage the money you have been given.

o You will enjoy the ease with which you are able to meet your financial obligations.

o You will notice that your connection in God deepens and thus your spiritual life expands and your consciousness of wealth grows.

o You will find that you want to give more than 10% to a variety of places of spiritual nourishment.

o You'll wonder how you ever managed to live without giving the GIFT of Tithing.

Seize Abundant Rich Living Yet? How to Maximize the Ruling Force That Manifests Prosperity!

Abundant rich living sounds wonderful doesn't it? Are you seizing what has been made available to live your dream life?

When we think of a prosperous life, the details are unique for each of us. Yet usually the basics are common across the board.

What comes to your mind when you think of the dream life you desire?

Do you want loving, meaningful relationships? How about happiness, peace, and a slower, stress free pace; to be able to enjoy the everyday life? Does a closer walk with God and strong spiritual growth sound good? What about improved living conditions, a better car, and more money in the bank; the ability to give more to others. And of course we all want to be physically and mentally healthy.

What is the Ruling Force Affecting Your Life?

The spiritual law of confession: Few people realize that the spiritual law of confession rules us. I'm referring to the things we speak, talk about, say, and confess every day.

Regardless of who we are, we'll never rise above our confessions. And here is where it gets really interesting: We all get to choose the confessions of our mouth. It is our choice.

"You are snared (trapped) with the words of your mouth." - Proverbs 6:2

How Do You Maximize this Ruling Force and Manifest Prosperity?

Confess what you believe in your heart: The key to maximizing this force is realizing the power is in confessing what we believe in our heart, not our head.

Jesus tells us we can have anything we SAY as long as we believe in our HEART (spirit) and CONFESS it with our mouth. (Mark 11:23)

Having a head full of beliefs and knowledge is like having a bag full of seeds. They both hold a great untapped potential harvest. However, we will not reap a harvest in life without planting the seeds.

To manifest results, the head knowledge we have must be planted in our heart and applied to our lives.

How do we get the knowledge that is in our heads planted in our hearts?

Again the answer is that we must speak it - confess it.

Speak out loud the thoughts and beliefs you wish to manifest. There is great, often overlooked power, in the spoken word.

Keep in mind: at first we may only be speaking head knowledge. We may only understand or believe something to be true in our mind. But the real power is in confessing what we want so it gets planted in our heart and we in turn believe it in our heart.

The good news is that when we continue to confess, what we now believe in our heart (spirit), we will begin to see the manifestation of those beliefs in our life.

"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." - Luke 6:45

A word of warning: The spiritual law of confession works for both good and bad. So only confess positive if you want to reap positive results. If you are like me, this can be a challenge at times, but one worth conquering.

There is a reason Jesus put such a great emphasis on the fact that we can have what we say, speak, and confess with our mouth and believe in our heart. The same steps we take to receive eternal salvation in Christ; believe with our heart and confess with our mouth, are the same steps we take to manifest prosperity and abundance in all areas of life.

Hopefully by now you are convinced: There are many benefits to mastering our confessions and tapping into the power of the spoken word. It plays a vital role in every area of our lives. Start today. Choose carefully the words you allow your mouth to speak. Maximize this powerful force that can manifest prosperity and begin to seize the abundant rich life.

May your confessions reflect truth from the Word of God and manifest growing prosperity!

Abundant Living - 7 Success Tips to Guide Your Journey of Life and Journey to Heaven!

Abundant living on earth is a choice we can all make. An abundant eternal life is also a choice. God has prepared a great plan of prosperity for us and now it is up to us to reach out and receive by faith.

As a Christian; life is not a 'try it out and see what happens'. It takes faith to become a Christian and faith to live the Christian journey of life.

7 Guiding Success Tips for Abundant Living:

1.) Allow the Spirit of God to Reveal - Let the Spirit of God help you know what has been freely given to us. God reveals to us by His Spirit; the things He prepared for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9-10, 12)

2.) Live a Life of Excellence - Be determined to live a life of excellence and go all the way up the mountain! Don't live a mediocre life and be content to only go half-way.

3.) Get in The Word - It is the Word of God that gets on us and in us that creates success. Get in the Word and do what it says and your journey will become prosperous and you will have good success in life. (Joshua 1:8)

4.) Catch the Vision - Be a person of vision and dare to do things others aren't willing to try. Have an eye of an eagle to see a far off. Living by faith requires using our spiritual vision to see what has not yet manifested in the natural. Wait on God to get your vision. (Habakkuk 2:1-2)

5.) Understand Your True Identity - Know who you are, the authority you have, and the promises made available to you because you are in Christ. There are over 130 "In Him" and "In Christ" verses in the Bible that help you with this. Dig them out and discover what you have been missing!

6.) Live in Victory - Have wings to soar like an eagle above the storms that come. Overcome the accuser by the testimony of the blood of Jesus in your life. Submit yourself to God and resist the devil to make him flee from you. (Revelation 12:11, James 4:7)

7.) Pray Always - Be a person of prayer. Build yourself up spiritually before you do anything. And in everything we do it should be by prayer. (Philippians 4:6)

Why not choose to live in the high places of God? God wants His children to have the very best.

Your journey on earth and your journey to heaven can be thrilling! Do not settle for anything less than the very best.

And don't be fooled; wishing and hoping does not result in blessings.

Bottom line: God's dealings with people are always based on covenant. Discover what belongs to you and claim your inheritance by opening The Book, praying, and listening to God. God will let you know what to do. Just call on Him and act on His Word by faith and enjoy abundant living.

May your journey of life be filled with growing prosperity!

Prosperous Living - Shortcut Your Path to Wealth by Acknowledging the True Source of Abundance!

Prosperous living requires taking a drive on the path to wealth. One of the primary shortcuts, in reaching your destination, involves acknowledging the true source of abundance.

One Infinite Source

There is only one true source in the universe that holds unlimited supply. God it the true source of all wealth; including financial wealth and spiritual and physical prosperity.

It is important to understand that when you acknowledge God as your source, temporary financial struggles no longer need to dictate your outcome. Why? Because, there are many ways and means that God can use to supply your needs. And His supply never runs dry.

God is the source and everyone else is His instrument. Many people make the mistake of thinking that their job is the source of their supply. But they need to realize that God is the source, and He simply uses their work as a means to let the funds flow to them.

"My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches." -- Philippians 4:19

Notice it says 'My God', not the company you work for. God is your source.

An Invisible Reservoir of Abundance

Norman Vincent Peale talks about an invisible reservoir of abundance in the universe. This is a great image of the abundance of God.

As we continually acknowledge God as the source of our supply, we'll find that we are divinely guided on our path to wealth. God is able to make a way when there seems to be no way. Realize it is our choice to recognize God's power and ownership over everything. And remember we are only stewards of what He supplies us.

Putting our faith and trust in a job, a person, or any other income source, has been proven to be a letdown at one time or another in life.

Prosperity is the result of our choice to accept and trust that God's ways are higher than ours. When we live by His ways, they will guide us on the path to wealth and allow us to tap into the invisible reservoir of abundance. We will then be like trees planted by rivers of water and prospering in everything we put our hand to. (Psalm 1:3)

Make no mistake about it: We will never go wrong acknowledging God as the source of our supply. However, be fair warned, if we choose not to, we can expect a lot of detours on our path to wealth.

May your eyes always be fixed on God as your source and may your life be filled with growing prosperity!

Living Life Abundantly Starts With Thinking Abundantly

Abundance and Prosperity is available for all on the planet to obtain. Many of the people on the Western Hemisphere and Europe will have a greater chance to achieve this status mostly due to education, opportunity, inheritance and connections. Abundance is relevant to your current state no matter where you live. If any of my readers have read my article on "Finding Success in All Aspects of Your Life", I elaborate on the topic that abundance is not just about money. That's where the Prosperity bit comes into the picture. Just go have a look at the meaning in a dictionary. No matter where you look it refers to The Condition of Being Prosperous. It's a condition?

How do we find abundance and prosperity? Well in my view it starts with what you already have currently. I expect many of you have abundance in your life and you just don't know it. This does not mean we can not obtain more. To the contrary, there is more abundance on this planet than we will ever use and more is being created. So lets take a minute to write down what we have. Your home, Your Children, Your Spouse, Your Sexy Car, Your Great Job, Your Many Friends. Do you see where I am going with this? You first have to believe you already have abundance before you can obtain more. You can't climb any higher without knowing where to start from. Go Ahead. Don't feel foolish. Write them down.

Lets look at the best selling book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. This book was promoted as a way to get what you want through the power of the law of attraction. Yes, in my opinion the power of attraction exists and yes it will get results. However, there is more than just closing your eyes and willing things to happen. If that's what your doing and wondering why you have not obtained any results yet, just stop. It won't work. If your willing that you will win the lottery there is a allot of competition out there doing the same thing. The funny part is that the winner of the lottery will likely say they willed it to happen. Millions of others willing it to happen had no results at all.

"The Secret" was written about carrying forward to todays time, a book written by Wallace D Wattles over 100 years ago. This gem " The Science of Getting Rich" clarified many things for me on the topic of abundance. You will likely struggle to get past the use of the English language used from that period in time. In my view "The Secret" comes up short of what Wattles intended. There are many great authors and goal setting Guru's who wrote Chapters in "The Secret" but they said just enough to drive the readers to their websites or go out and buy their own book. "The Science of Getting Rich" is a quick afternoon read and it packs allot of punch. Wattles discusses abundance in great detail. His writing will convince you there is more than enough to go around. What he also elaborates on is that you have to focus on your desires and aspirations. Focus on obtaining abundance in areas that are not competitive. That makes sense. If you got it from someone else I guess that means you can lose it to someone else. What Wattles suggests is that you focus on the universe and all the abundance in it. Concentrate on things in the universe that you can create and grow without competition? Focus on this idea every day. Take action and it will happen. The take away from this is, TAKE ACTION. The power of attraction lives in our mind. Think of it as emitting a signal. If we think about it long and hard enough it will happen. We naturally gravitate towards our thoughts but at some point these thoughts turn into action.

There is a chapter in Wattles book that suggests we not give money to the poor. What he suggests is those people with the ability to give, do so to those people who given the opportunity will grow or make things that will enhance their lives and make those people self sustainable. Proof of this is in the success of the Micro Credit movement. The abundance in the universe will take over from there and continue to create abundance. The wealthiest people on earth all believe in abundance. They understand abundance and have what is called an abundance mindset. The great thing about these wealthy people is they like to give some of their wealth away. It's not about greed. They know there is a never-ending source of abundance. They have more money and prosperity than they will ever need.

Think for a moment about something like oil. We have been told for years we are going to run out of oil. There is still lots of oil and likely will be for many years to come. Because of abundance money is being spent to find more oil and ways to extract more oil in an efficient manner. Money from abundance is being spent to make our vehicles more fuel efficient. Because of abundance alternative sources of energy are being invented right now.

Understanding abundance is critical to your obtaining more. There is no taking abundance from someone else. Your success in finding, and growing abundance, is in the believing there is more than enough for everyone. Abundance is a never-ending supply. It is because of abundance you will be able to obtain prosperity. The two are very much connected. Connecting the two can be the challenge. Abundance followed by Prosperity can be obtained by thinking positive thoughts that leads you to take action. Actions that will take you to heights never thought possible.

Living Life Abundantly - Tips on How You Can Live Your Life in Prosperity

Living life abundantly is a common goal that we all want to achieve. Of course, we want to live a life where our needs are met and we can be happy. Of course, living a prosperous life does not necessarily mean having all the material things you desire for. In fact, it is about happiness and attitude towards what you already have.

To help you in living life abundantly, here are a few tips that you might find useful.

- Be thankful with what you have. Fulfillment and happiness in life is something that you can achieve with the proper mentality. Indeed, fulfillment and abundance is partly about your attitude and about how you see life. If you want to experience abundance in life, you have to learn how to appreciate what you already have. By being thankful, you will find your life filled with abundance and not about what you lack in life.

- Identify your strengths and make them your foundation in taking advantage of the opportunities that may come your way. Achieving your goals is one of the things that can indeed make your life happier and more fulfilled but of course, you have to take action as well in trying to achieve your goals and in making your life be filled with abundance and prosperity.

-Build good relations with the people around you or the people you will meet in your journey towards achieving your goals. Building friendships can truly help you make your life more colorful and happier.

- Learn to enjoy what you have today. If you are not happy with what you have today and you do not enjoy what you have today, you may never satisfy yourself when it comes to being fulfilled in life. Indeed, living life abundantly also means enjoying everything you have in life. Do not equate material things to happiness and enjoyment as well. You can enjoy life with what you have. You don't need to have a certain amount of money to be happy. Living life abundantly is being happy in all aspects of your life but you don't have to have everything. If you want to be happy and you think happy, you can indeed enjoy life and allow you to feel prosperous and fulfilled.

- Manage your finances. Although abundance is not necessarily having a lot of money, it is however important that you manage your finances well. Indeed, to live a life of abundance and prosperity, you have to be sure as well that you can manage to provide for your basic needs.

- Believe in yourself. If you believe that you can get what you want and that you believe that you can achieve your goals and dreams, it will be easier for you to achieve a life of abundance and prosperity. Your attitude indeed plays an important role in trying to achieve your goals and in attaining success, thus if you want to live an abundant and prosperous life, you have to make sure that you have the right attitude towards life.

Prosperity and Abundance - Co-Creating Life and Living in Abundance

How can one grow in prosperity and abundance and co-create the life he or she wants to live? Should we desire live in prosperity and abundance or is this another trip of the ego? These are questions which go through our minds as co-creators of life. We question this so intently because we want to be sure that we manifest what we truly desire instead of creating a bunch of stuff we don't want. Furthermore, the answer to these questions helps to alleviate much of the guilt we feel when we desire wealth and success.

Accordingly, many of these pertinent questions are answered with abundance training. But now, let us explore this for a moment. Prosperity and abundance are most definitely what we experience as co-creators on the path of enlightenment. However we grow in prosperity and abundance when we allow the Creative Spirit to move in our lives, increase our vibration, and become better conductors of energy.

This relates to our well-being or the well of our being. The well of our being contains the essence of who we really are and what we radiate to the rest of the world. Our well-being can improve with training. We can experience happiness, joy, prosperity, elation, and the inter-connectivity with Source Energy we long for.

We can improve the well of our being by listening to the voice of our Soul and operating in the 6 systems of divine flow which include:

1. Health and Wellness

2. Knowledge and Wisdom

3. Peace and Order

4. Wealth and Success

5. Love and Devotion

6. Service to others

Operating effectively in these six systems not only improves our well-being but gives us a productive mental attitude. With a productive mental attitude we are able to be effective co-creators. An effective co-creator can create the life he or she desires to live. In continual flow of this powerful energy, we live in abundance and we experience prosperity.

Now, prosperity is not without having plenty of money. And sometimes, the money issue is where we experience the most confusion as co-creators. We don't want to talk about and think about it, but if we are without the amount of money we desire, we think about it regardless of our discomfort with the subject. Money is an energy resource available to those who are productive. Are there people who are non-productive with money? No. Productivity is about expansion which is what we are here to do as co-creators. The Universe is non-judgmental, if there is productivity in the life of any individual he or she will increase in money. However, creating from our Soul is what creates happiness, wealth, richness, and the energy to live in abundance. Creating from our Soul is more productive and makes our potential to have more, be more, and yes, attract more money, limitless.

Therefore, there is no wonder why we ask ourselves continuously the burning question....Should we desire to live in prosperity and abundance?

The answer should not be so shocking. For the answer is...

Most certainly, it is not possible to be the co-creator we are divinely created to be without prosperity and abundance. As we grow in our role as co-creators, we realize that prosperity and abundance is the result of being an effective co-creator. And this growth and maturity into who we really are, creates the magic and miracles in our lives.

3 Keys to Abundant Living

Living abundantly is something I believe everyone aspires to. Yet, very few people truly live an abundant life. Rising poverty, divorce and unemployment rates speaks of more and more people not living a prosperous and abundant life.

Part of the problem is most people are turning their attention to the wrong thing. After seeing movies and reading books like The Secret, there is this misconception about manifesting prosperity. Firstly, prosperity is and never was about money; and so many are focused on the money. Money is a means to the end, not the end itself. In the book Spiritual Economics, author Eric Butterworth defines prosperity as "to go forward hopefully." Prosperity is not just having money or material things, but prosperity is a way of living and thinking.

The other part of the problem is not knowing what you truly desire and continuously focusing on what you absolutely do not want. As you know, where your attention goes, that is where your energy flows. Yes, it is helpful to know what you do not want in order to solidify what you do want. But do not camp out where you do not want to remain. When you have figured out what you do want, there are three keys you can use to create a life of abundance and prosperity.

Decide

The first key is to make the decision. So often you have the ideas floating around in your head to be, do, and have something; yet you don't make the decision to be, do or have it. When you make the decision to be, do, or have something, you unlock the door to universal partnership - opportunities come along that weren't there before, resources are placed in your path, and you manifest from a more conscious guidance.

Ask

The second key is to ask for what you wish to be, do or have. This is a neglected step. I think we just assume that if it's floating around in our heads then that's enough. Asking is declaring with inspired intention. When you ask for what it is you wish to be, do or have, you are also in a state of allowing. You are allowing your Divine partnership to create the next steps for you. You do not have to figure out how to make it happen. In fact, my advice is to stay out of the "how" as it only creates blocks of fear, worry and doubt. When you ask, you can then let go. You will be guided as to your next inspired action steps to take.

Receive

The final key is to receive. This may seem obvious but we often block the flow with not believing we will receive what we want to be, do or have. So when it does show up - in one form or another - we do not accept it. We will rationalize it away, and then sulk into a state of disappointment and disbelief.

The key to manifesting prosperity and living an abundant life is truly within your reach if you would only decide, ask and receive.

9 Steps To Living Abundantly

Many of us are bowed down by life - stressed, short of time, tired, on a treadmill, knowing that this isn't the way to live, but not knowing how to free ourselves up to live more fully, more abundantly. There are simple things we can do - they don't take time or money - they take a change of attitude. Here are 9 of them:

1. Being totally financially honest - if you are not, this implies that there is not enough for you to have everything you need without dishonesty.

2. Creating a vacuum so that more good things can flow into it - don't fill your life up with things you don't really want. Ask yourself if you want each thing before you buy it. Don't have abundant rubbish, live abundantly by seeking out the things and experiences that work for you in your core being.

3. Tithing is often associated with religion, but it is also possible to tithe in a non-religious context. This seems a really important aspect of living abundantly - every time you freely give money away, you are implying that you are confident that more will come - this is a BIG positive affirmation with a lot of power behind it. The traditional amount is 10% of your income. I've recommended this to lots of people, and they've told me that when they do this - magically - they seem to have more. I started with 10% but now I've increased it, because I've seen that the more I give away the more I get back, and the happier and more abundantly I live.

4. Being grateful for what you already have - focussing on the good that is already in your life. It's easy to think about what you don't have, but spend some time each day thinking about what you do have. Start each day by thinking of 5 things that you are grateful for - and express this out loud.

5. Resentment, jealousy, envy and self-pity interfere with the free-flow of abundance. If you are jealous or envious of someone, it implies that what they have is not available for you to have also. If you find it difficult to let go of these feelings, Bach flower remedies may help. Try the remedy 'willow' to counteract resentment and self-pity, or try 'holly' for envy, jealousy and greed.

6. Forgiving those that have wronged you is part of living abundantly. Holding on to your anger, however justifiable it may seem, keeps you stuck in the past, rather than going forward into a better future. If it's difficult to let go of your negative feelings, try writing a letter expressing all your anger, hurt or envy. Write until you can write no more, and then burn it.

7. Being able to receive from other people. Being able to receive is healthy, but many people find it difficult. You may need to practice receiving. Think of the pleasure you get in giving. By not receiving generously you are denying other people the pleasure of giving.

8. Realise that in general 'good luck' plays a very small part in people's life. (If you put your faith in good luck, then you have to accept the possibility of bad luck too.) People who put their faith in 'good luck' often spend their lives waiting for things to happen. People who don't believe in luck go out and make things happen.

9. Believing that there is enough money, food, love, etc. in the world to meet everyone's needs to live abundantly. I left this one till the last, because it can be very hard to believe when faced with war and starvation in the newspapers and on the TV, but a lot of this anger and need is caused because people who have do not believe they have enough, because they substitute money and food for all the other abundance of life. Do your bit to correct that imbalance and start living a life that recognises there are inequalities and shortages, but recognises that we can correct that so we all have what we need.

5 Keys Ingredients to Living an Abundant and Prosperous Life

Prosperity consciousness involves adopting a mindset that leads to a life of thriving, success, good fortune, happiness and health. It is cultivated by choosing thoughts that affirm the infinite abundance of the Universe, and releasing negative beliefs systems that perpetuate the appearance of lack.

Prosperity and abundance is your birthright, although you might be sabotaging your ability to attract it to you by harboring negative thoughts that keep it just out of reach. I have highlighted five key ingredients needed to unleash the wellspring of prosperity that is waiting at your doorstep.

1. Release Any Limiting Beliefs About Money

Many of the beliefs we have about money are handed down to us by our family members. Taking a personal inventory of your beliefs about money can be very enlightening. Maybe you were taught that "money is the root of all evil" or "there is never enough to go around" or "having money isn't spiritual".

When you become aware of negative thought patterns you hold surrounding the topic of money, you are now in a position to turn your negative thoughts into positive affirmations. Releasing limiting beliefs about money opens the doorway to the infinite abundance available to you at all times.

2. Realize Prosperity Comes In Many Forms

Prosperity is the condition of enjoying abundance, success and good fortune. It is so much more than simply having money in the bank. Holding a newborn baby, watching a sunset on the beach, and spending time with your best friend are only a few examples of the fruits of an abundant life.

Take some time to look around and notice the myriad of ways the Universe has blessed you with abundance. Prosperity consciousness is more about how you feel about your life than about what you have in the way of material possessions. If you feel prosperous and abundant, than regardless of your current circumstances, you are blessed beyond your wildest dreams.

3. Adopt an Attitude of Gratitude

Life loves a grateful heart. When you are truly grateful for all that you have you become a magnet for greater good to come into your life. Instead of focusing your attention on what you DON'T have, spend some time focusing your attention on what you DO have.

Thank the Universe often for the abundance in your life. Affirm that you are worthy of a glorious future filled with love and success. From the depths of your soul, breathe in the knowing that there is plenty for everyone including you. Allow gratitude to shape your worldview into one that reflects an infinite flow of all good things to you.

4. Release Any Expectations of HOW and WHEN

Expectations sabotage your ability to be truly open to a multitude of avenues of prosperity and abundance. If your good has to come to you in a specific manner in order for you to recognize it and appreciate it, you might be waiting a long time.

By releasing any expectations over HOW and WHEN prosperity will show up in your life, you open the door for miracles to unfold in the present moment without being attached to the outcome. Focusing your attention on the effort you put forth in any situation while simultaneously releasing your attachment to the outcome is very freeing. It allows the Universe to handle the details from a broader perspective and keeps your attention in the present moment.

5. Bless and Prosper Those Around You

If you are critical of people who have money you are unknowingly creating a stopgap in your ability to receive greater amounts of prosperity. Universal law dictates that you get back what you give in life. You can't complain about the over privileged upper class and concomitantly attract more prosperity to yourself in the process. It doesn't work that way.

Instead of criticizing those who have more than you get into the habit of blessing those around by wishing them a prosperous and happy life. Reveling in the good fortune of others automatically attunes you to the same good fortune. What you want for others you also want for yourself.

The world around you reflects the thoughts you hold in mind. As you become aware of the negative thoughts that are perpetuating lack in your life, turn each one into an affirmation for prosperity and abundance. The Universe will respond in kind by sending a plethora of amazing things your way.

Living With Abundance and Prosperity

The majority of people tend to look at the world from a perspective of what they lack or what they do not have.  They do not look at it with an awareness as to the abundance that there is available to them and to the fact that almost anyone can create for themselves a life filled with prosperity as well.  The more that you keep your awareness on the things that you do not have,  the more you are going to feel as if you really have no power to create changes to your life.

Many people try to have the perspective of recognizing abundance in the world only to see it from both sides.  They see the abundant resources that are available and the goodness that exists in many,  but they also see that there is an abundance of evil and of conflict as well.  This leads to an inner conflict as to what the mind should really focus on and what perspective is the right one to have.

That choice is something that only you can make.  There is no way that someone living in all of the comfort in Beverly Hills can realistically tell someone living in an area of poverty or in war to simply change their awareness and that will make everything okay.  You make the choice for yourself.

Even in the bleakest of times,  you can focus on the light at the end of the tunnel if that it is what you choose to do.  No one can make you decide to do this,  though.  Therefore if you choose to see the world from a perspective of lack or of prosperity and abundance,  you are in control of the results of thinking in that way.

Your Right to Prosperous Living

We have all heard of the words prosperity, prosper, and prosperous. What do these words mean to you?

To me, the word prosper means the extent to which you are experiencing happiness, health, wealth and abundance in your life. Prosperity allows you to experience financial abundance, a balanced personal life, expanded knowledge, happiness, and a deeper spiritual walk. Prosperous living creates a fulfilled and abundant life for you.

Do you think you can live an abundant life?

Let me go ahead and answer that question for you. Yes, you can. We all can. This is the life that God intended for us to live. It is clearly shown in the bible when Jesus said, I came so that you may have life and have it abundantly

(John 10:10). Jesus did not say I came so that you may be broke, unhappy, or lacking. He said I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

If you are living anything far from an abundant life, know that you are not living the life that God has intended for you.

When you look all through out the bible and study the great leaders in bible, Abraham, Moses, Jacob, Elijah, Elisha, David, Solomon, and the virtuous woman in proverbs they were all prosperous. They knew they had access to the abundance of God. They understood that no good thing would be withheld from them. They tapped into the POWER. The power of God that is more than sufficient to meet any need.

My dear friends, I am here to tell you that God is still the same. He has not changed. You can tap into that same power and you also have the same access to God's unlimited abundance.

All the riches in the world are yours they only await your acceptance

(Raymond Barker).

Let's get down to the dirty truth about poverty

Poverty is a spiritual blindness that causes man not to see the unlimited abundance of God. Poverty causes addictions, unhappiness, depression and it drives intelligent men and women to live a life of abuse, crime and unhappiness. Poverty drives people to do things they would never imagine themselves to do. (Catherine Ponder)

God is good, only good exists in him, and we are created in the image of God. Our purpose is to glorify God. Think about it for just a second, what use would a broke, poor, lacking person be to God? How would that glorify him? From this, then you know that poverty is a state of mind because God is good and all that is of the Father is good.

This means that YOU choose whether or not you will live an abundant life or not. It's called free will. God clearly shows an example of free will in Deuteronomy 28:1 when he states, if you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all my commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. Furthermore, Deuteronomy 28:15 states, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees he is giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.

So the choice to have or have not is yours.

How do you have? By obeying the commandments of God, by knowing and thinking the truth. The truth is prosperity is your divine heritage. As a child of God you have rights. You are and have always been prosperous, and you have access to ALL the abundance of your infinite source, God. The lies that you have fed yourself about prosperity; such as, prosperity is only available to a "select" few, you need to have a certain degree, or you need to have X amount of dollars in your bank account in order to be prosperous are ALL lies. Prosperity is a state of mind. It is not determined by your race, education level, or net worth. It is determined by your thoughts.

You cannot live a fulfilled life unless you are prosperous. If you are living anything less than, you are living abnormally. God created YOU and when he was done, he said it was very good. This tells me that when he created you, he equipped you, and God has made his abundance available for you.

So if you are living abnormally, know that you can live a normal life. All it takes is a decision. Decide right now at this moment that you choose to be prosperous, that you choose happiness, you choose peace, you choose abundance and you allow all these things to become a part of your everyday experience.

Your first step is making a decision to have what is rightfully yours right now, TODAY.

Living an Abundant Life - How to Have Abundance and Prosperity in Life

Living an abundant life is one thing that many people desire for. In fact, we all want to live in abundance and in prosperity but sometimes we tend to chase things that we desire most and yet still end up not contented and unhappy.

If living an abundant life is one of your goals in life, it is important that you have to define what you want and what life of abundance is to you. In fact, abundance in life is not all becoming rich materially. Most of the time, abundance comes not from the wealth that we get but from our attitude towards what we have. To help you find prosperity and abundance in life, here are a few tips and ideas.

Wealth is not just about having a steady source of money. Of course, we all need to have a steady income to be able to pay for our basic needs and necessities but it is important that we understand what can make us happy and what can make us become prosperous in life.

- Be happy with what you have. Sometimes we are too focused on what can make us happy and what we still don't have. Instead of looking for and chasing what you think can make your life abundant, why not start first on counting your blessings. Learning to be happy of what you have is indeed the first step towards attaining fulfillment and abundance in life.

- Don't equate wealth with material ones. When we say abundance, we often associate it with lots of money and all the material things that we want in life, but you have to keep in mind that wealth does not necessarily mean material things. Of course, it includes having enough for your basic needs and necessities but it also means having the fulfillment and contentment in your life. If you have the resources enough to take care of you and your family's needs, and you are happy in all aspects of your life, then you will most likely see the abundance in your life.

- Learn to manage your finances. Although living an abundant life is not just all about money, being able to provide for the needs of the family is also a part of being prosperous in life. You don't have to have millions and several bank accounts but being able to provide for your needs can truly help you. One way to do this is to budget your money and make a sound financial plan. Prioritize your needs and make sure that you also make savings as well.

- Know your strengths and grab great opportunities that may come your way. Of course, you have to do something to attain abundance and fulfillment in your life. By knowing your strengths and what you can do well, you can identify great opportunities in your life that will help you attain your goals of prosperity.
