Growing Prosperity: 5 Things You Need to Abundantly Receive the Abundance of God!

Growing prosperity is limited by many human factors, including our ability to receive. If we were to enjoy the abundance of God according to His willingness and ability to give, there would be no poverty among us; for surely there is no lack in God!

The Giver and The Receiver

If you were given the choice to prosper according to your ability to ask and receive, or according to God's willingness to give, what would you choose?

Who would even hesitate to choose the generous giving of God? We cannot even want a blessing that God has made available as eagerly as He wants to give it to us!

Our asking is limited by human factors. And our boldest request is sure to be small compared to God's unlimited willingness to give and His boundless ability to perform what He wills.

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." -- Ephesians 3:20

God is infinite, but it is not enough that we acknowledge the infinite abundance of God. We must also believe that He is infinitely generous to give and bless us out of His abundance.

So let me ask you: Why are Christians so poverty stricken? Their God is the Most High God, possessor of heaven and earth, and rich beyond the powers of man to comprehend. Well of course, the problem is not with God the giver. The problem is on our receiving end, so let's take a look at that.

5 Things You Need to Abundantly Receive the Abundance of God:

1. FAITH

Only a little faith is required to believe that God is infinitely abundant. However, to believe that God is a generous giver as well as the possessor of infinite abundance requires an advanced faith.

We need to be convinced that God is generous, goodhearted, kind and ready to pour out His blessings upon us. To gain a personal revelation of this and increase our faith, meditating on the Word and immersing ourselves in the Scriptures is a must. This will help validate our expectations.

Faith needs to be exercised to be effective and help us grow in our ability and capacity to receive abundantly. So believe God for financial abundance, spiritual abundance, and also abundance of love, joy, and peace. Have faith in God to prosper in every area of your life.

2. RECEPTIVE MINDSET

A receptive mindset to prosper is needed to receive in a greater capacity. This requires changing our focus from a scarcity mentality, to a more than enough mentality. The world would have us focus on lack, shortages, and loss to destroy our abundant mindset. But, God is the God of more than enough and we should not put limits on Him. Our focus should be on the abundant promises in His Word.

Whatever you lack, believe God for it and expect to receive. Believe that God will supply all your needs; believe that He meets your needs and provides for those who seek Him.

3. RESPONSIBILITY

A serious responsibility goes along with the abundance that is manifested in our lives. Selfish stewardship over the gifts, talents, and blessings we receive can destroy their usefulness and our ability to receive more.

The gifts we have been blessed with are meant to be used to benefit others; not only ourselves. We are blessed to be a blessing.

4. GENEROSITY

Generosity opens the door to receiving. Giving and receiving go hand-in-hand. The more we give the more we receive. A generous heart is the heart of God and those with a generous spirit are blessed.

"Give, and it shall be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over... For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." -- Luke 6:38

5. THANKFULNESS

It is impossible to be too thankful to God, but it might be good to try. It is God's will that we give thanks in everything. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) Those who maintain an attitude of gratitude also keep their ability to receive wide open.

Now what? Are you ready to receive in a measure more in keeping with God's liberality? If so, then it is time for you to make these five things part of your life and abundantly start receiving the abundance of God.

May your ability to receive continue to increase and move you into an abundant life of growing prosperity!

Living Life Abundantly Starts With Thinking Abundantly

Abundance and Prosperity is available for all on the planet to obtain. Many of the people on the Western Hemisphere and Europe will have a greater chance to achieve this status mostly due to education, opportunity, inheritance and connections. Abundance is relevant to your current state no matter where you live. If any of my readers have read my article on "Finding Success in All Aspects of Your Life", I elaborate on the topic that abundance is not just about money. That's where the Prosperity bit comes into the picture. Just go have a look at the meaning in a dictionary. No matter where you look it refers to The Condition of Being Prosperous. It's a condition?

How do we find abundance and prosperity? Well in my view it starts with what you already have currently. I expect many of you have abundance in your life and you just don't know it. This does not mean we can not obtain more. To the contrary, there is more abundance on this planet than we will ever use and more is being created. So lets take a minute to write down what we have. Your home, Your Children, Your Spouse, Your Sexy Car, Your Great Job, Your Many Friends. Do you see where I am going with this? You first have to believe you already have abundance before you can obtain more. You can't climb any higher without knowing where to start from. Go Ahead. Don't feel foolish. Write them down.

Lets look at the best selling book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. This book was promoted as a way to get what you want through the power of the law of attraction. Yes, in my opinion the power of attraction exists and yes it will get results. However, there is more than just closing your eyes and willing things to happen. If that's what your doing and wondering why you have not obtained any results yet, just stop. It won't work. If your willing that you will win the lottery there is a allot of competition out there doing the same thing. The funny part is that the winner of the lottery will likely say they willed it to happen. Millions of others willing it to happen had no results at all.

"The Secret" was written about carrying forward to todays time, a book written by Wallace D Wattles over 100 years ago. This gem " The Science of Getting Rich" clarified many things for me on the topic of abundance. You will likely struggle to get past the use of the English language used from that period in time. In my view "The Secret" comes up short of what Wattles intended. There are many great authors and goal setting Guru's who wrote Chapters in "The Secret" but they said just enough to drive the readers to their websites or go out and buy their own book. "The Science of Getting Rich" is a quick afternoon read and it packs allot of punch. Wattles discusses abundance in great detail. His writing will convince you there is more than enough to go around. What he also elaborates on is that you have to focus on your desires and aspirations. Focus on obtaining abundance in areas that are not competitive. That makes sense. If you got it from someone else I guess that means you can lose it to someone else. What Wattles suggests is that you focus on the universe and all the abundance in it. Concentrate on things in the universe that you can create and grow without competition? Focus on this idea every day. Take action and it will happen. The take away from this is, TAKE ACTION. The power of attraction lives in our mind. Think of it as emitting a signal. If we think about it long and hard enough it will happen. We naturally gravitate towards our thoughts but at some point these thoughts turn into action.

There is a chapter in Wattles book that suggests we not give money to the poor. What he suggests is those people with the ability to give, do so to those people who given the opportunity will grow or make things that will enhance their lives and make those people self sustainable. Proof of this is in the success of the Micro Credit movement. The abundance in the universe will take over from there and continue to create abundance. The wealthiest people on earth all believe in abundance. They understand abundance and have what is called an abundance mindset. The great thing about these wealthy people is they like to give some of their wealth away. It's not about greed. They know there is a never-ending source of abundance. They have more money and prosperity than they will ever need.

Think for a moment about something like oil. We have been told for years we are going to run out of oil. There is still lots of oil and likely will be for many years to come. Because of abundance money is being spent to find more oil and ways to extract more oil in an efficient manner. Money from abundance is being spent to make our vehicles more fuel efficient. Because of abundance alternative sources of energy are being invented right now.

Understanding abundance is critical to your obtaining more. There is no taking abundance from someone else. Your success in finding, and growing abundance, is in the believing there is more than enough for everyone. Abundance is a never-ending supply. It is because of abundance you will be able to obtain prosperity. The two are very much connected. Connecting the two can be the challenge. Abundance followed by Prosperity can be obtained by thinking positive thoughts that leads you to take action. Actions that will take you to heights never thought possible.

Living Life Abundantly - Tips on How You Can Live Your Life in Prosperity

Living life abundantly is a common goal that we all want to achieve. Of course, we want to live a life where our needs are met and we can be happy. Of course, living a prosperous life does not necessarily mean having all the material things you desire for. In fact, it is about happiness and attitude towards what you already have.

To help you in living life abundantly, here are a few tips that you might find useful.

- Be thankful with what you have. Fulfillment and happiness in life is something that you can achieve with the proper mentality. Indeed, fulfillment and abundance is partly about your attitude and about how you see life. If you want to experience abundance in life, you have to learn how to appreciate what you already have. By being thankful, you will find your life filled with abundance and not about what you lack in life.

- Identify your strengths and make them your foundation in taking advantage of the opportunities that may come your way. Achieving your goals is one of the things that can indeed make your life happier and more fulfilled but of course, you have to take action as well in trying to achieve your goals and in making your life be filled with abundance and prosperity.

-Build good relations with the people around you or the people you will meet in your journey towards achieving your goals. Building friendships can truly help you make your life more colorful and happier.

- Learn to enjoy what you have today. If you are not happy with what you have today and you do not enjoy what you have today, you may never satisfy yourself when it comes to being fulfilled in life. Indeed, living life abundantly also means enjoying everything you have in life. Do not equate material things to happiness and enjoyment as well. You can enjoy life with what you have. You don't need to have a certain amount of money to be happy. Living life abundantly is being happy in all aspects of your life but you don't have to have everything. If you want to be happy and you think happy, you can indeed enjoy life and allow you to feel prosperous and fulfilled.

- Manage your finances. Although abundance is not necessarily having a lot of money, it is however important that you manage your finances well. Indeed, to live a life of abundance and prosperity, you have to be sure as well that you can manage to provide for your basic needs.

- Believe in yourself. If you believe that you can get what you want and that you believe that you can achieve your goals and dreams, it will be easier for you to achieve a life of abundance and prosperity. Your attitude indeed plays an important role in trying to achieve your goals and in attaining success, thus if you want to live an abundant and prosperous life, you have to make sure that you have the right attitude towards life.

Inspirational Steps to Take to Live Abundantly! When One Door Closes, Keep the Faith - Be Inspired

Every now and then we all need a BOOST!

It really does not concern me if you are already think you have reached the pinnacle of "SUCCESS" (a very relative term), or just beginning your personal journey to growth, Self-Discovery and abundance.

We all need reassurance that we are truly on the RIGHT path.

So, as I was reading this great book last night, "Who Moved My Cheese" by Spencer Johnson, M.D., I came across this special excerpt at the beginning of the book. The excerpt is quoted from, "The Keys of Wisdom", by A.J. Cronin.

If you have not had the opportunity read this wonderful book, I suggest you take it. It is a relatively quick read, and I guarantee that you will get some great insight about life.

But, let us get back to the point.

I composed this article so you can experience what I did after reading this excerpt. This undoubtedly helped me put things into perspective. Therefore, it is my awesome pleasure to share this with you.

I know you'll be just as INSPIRED as I was after reading it.

HERE IT IS:

"Life is no straight and easy corridor along

which we travel free and unhampered,

but a maze of passages,

through which we must seek our way,

lost and confused, now and again

checked in a blind alley.

But always, if we have faith,

a door will open for us,

not perhaps one that we ourselves

would ever have thought of,

but one that will ultimately

prove good for us."

~ A. J. Cronin

Life may not always be what and how you want it to be.

As I always profess; you are EXACTLY where you need to be, at this EXACT moment in your life.

You may go through ups and downs, but is that not life? Learn the lesson where you are, apply it to your life, and "KEEP IT MOVING"! Be sure to have concrete faith on your journey of self-discovery and self-mastery, as you will encounter much.

Trust in yourself and just know that you know what you know.

Take action and step out on faith, which will serve as your foundation along your journey; the journey to open the door to unlimited ABUNDANCE and PROSPERITY!

9 Steps To Living Abundantly

Many of us are bowed down by life - stressed, short of time, tired, on a treadmill, knowing that this isn't the way to live, but not knowing how to free ourselves up to live more fully, more abundantly. There are simple things we can do - they don't take time or money - they take a change of attitude. Here are 9 of them:

1. Being totally financially honest - if you are not, this implies that there is not enough for you to have everything you need without dishonesty.

2. Creating a vacuum so that more good things can flow into it - don't fill your life up with things you don't really want. Ask yourself if you want each thing before you buy it. Don't have abundant rubbish, live abundantly by seeking out the things and experiences that work for you in your core being.

3. Tithing is often associated with religion, but it is also possible to tithe in a non-religious context. This seems a really important aspect of living abundantly - every time you freely give money away, you are implying that you are confident that more will come - this is a BIG positive affirmation with a lot of power behind it. The traditional amount is 10% of your income. I've recommended this to lots of people, and they've told me that when they do this - magically - they seem to have more. I started with 10% but now I've increased it, because I've seen that the more I give away the more I get back, and the happier and more abundantly I live.

4. Being grateful for what you already have - focussing on the good that is already in your life. It's easy to think about what you don't have, but spend some time each day thinking about what you do have. Start each day by thinking of 5 things that you are grateful for - and express this out loud.

5. Resentment, jealousy, envy and self-pity interfere with the free-flow of abundance. If you are jealous or envious of someone, it implies that what they have is not available for you to have also. If you find it difficult to let go of these feelings, Bach flower remedies may help. Try the remedy 'willow' to counteract resentment and self-pity, or try 'holly' for envy, jealousy and greed.

6. Forgiving those that have wronged you is part of living abundantly. Holding on to your anger, however justifiable it may seem, keeps you stuck in the past, rather than going forward into a better future. If it's difficult to let go of your negative feelings, try writing a letter expressing all your anger, hurt or envy. Write until you can write no more, and then burn it.

7. Being able to receive from other people. Being able to receive is healthy, but many people find it difficult. You may need to practice receiving. Think of the pleasure you get in giving. By not receiving generously you are denying other people the pleasure of giving.

8. Realise that in general 'good luck' plays a very small part in people's life. (If you put your faith in good luck, then you have to accept the possibility of bad luck too.) People who put their faith in 'good luck' often spend their lives waiting for things to happen. People who don't believe in luck go out and make things happen.

9. Believing that there is enough money, food, love, etc. in the world to meet everyone's needs to live abundantly. I left this one till the last, because it can be very hard to believe when faced with war and starvation in the newspapers and on the TV, but a lot of this anger and need is caused because people who have do not believe they have enough, because they substitute money and food for all the other abundance of life. Do your bit to correct that imbalance and start living a life that recognises there are inequalities and shortages, but recognises that we can correct that so we all have what we need.

The Easiest Way to Live Abundantly and Prosper

How you feel is a direct reflection of your abundance. If you are feeling happy, to some degree you are experiencing a fulfilling moment. When you have sadness, there is an expression of lack. We all experience both, of course, we must, contrast is vital. However, your capacity to live abundantly is directly related to your ability to feel abundant.

In the times in which we live, abundance has become distorted. We seem to only recognize abundance through the eyes of others. Our values are placed on what we've perceived through the perception of a society and not always through our own acceptance and appreciation. What one feels is an abundant life another may view as lack. "One man's trash is another man's treasure." Have we become so skewed in our appreciation that we don't recognize our own worth?

Life should be a vigorous exploration of what you feel pleases you and at every turn recognizing the multitude of blessings around you. When you see your life as abundant, abundance becomes more of your life experience. Having appreciation for all that life brings and all that you have, even the lessons and the heartache will begin building for you an array of even greater prosperity.

Abundance is not having more stuff. Abundance is always a feeling, how you feel about what you have, your life and your journey. When you come to recognize your place, no matter where that is as one of abundance and you can feel the appreciation for it, your experience will be abundant. The perception of abundance has to come from the heart. You must feel it first to experience it.

The energetic shift of emotions around your perceived value is from where your power comes. And, when you come from thoughts of prosperity, because you choose to view your experience as plentiful, the evidence to prove your greater reality will begin to astound you. Where your focus is your energy goes and if your energy is flowing toward prosperity it is becoming, more and more, a larger part of your experience.

When you look at your life and tag your surroundings as limited and lacking your experience will maintain that path, because the laws of the universe are not negotiable and energy is everything and it is always flowing. There is always a means by which you can have better feelings to project positive energy. All that you view around you and the feelings you have for it are based on the perception you've chosen.

You always have the power to choose a new perception. Why not pick one that feels better? When you feel better it is an indication that you are feeling abundant and that is the energetic shift that can bring forth miracles. When you are excited about how your life is unfolding, because you chose to see it that way, and you feel abundant in what you currently have, your journey will match more and more those feelings. Then, very soon you won't have to look so hard to find it. Your abundance will be, and already is, all around you.

Be Abundantly You

"What is the meaning of life?" - This question posed so often to me by spiritual truth seekers and those desiring to know their life's purpose.

Life is not about amassing wealth, fame, the easy road, your physical possessions, etc. However, the sad truth is, that many attribute and value their life based on those principles.

Life is about being in service - constantly giving of yourself - abundantly. And, many reply to this and say, "What do I get in return?"

That, my friend, is EGO speaking for EGO believes we should not give of ourselves if we aren't to receive anything back. It is no wonder the world is in the current state of affairs that it is... we have been driven by EGO and our fear based reality and have taken everything with us.

Others will bitch and moan and say, "I give enough. When is it my turn."

EGO again...

Sadly, others will confess, "I can barely support myself how am I to give to another that which I don't have?"

An elusion of EGO speaks... the underlying message of fear.

The truth is, that many of us, won't help someone unless it benefits us in some way. What you are not seeing is the Law of One or the Law of Attraction during our EGO and fear based reality driven thoughts.

Being in service can consist of giving something of yourself - time, a smile, laughter, a joke, love, compassion, kindness, generosity, etc.

Comprise a list of what you feel you have to offer someone:

Do you have love to give?

Do you have the ability to smile?

Do you have compassion?

Do you have the gift of humor?

Do you have a listening ear?

And so on and so forth, once you have this list comprised - become fully present in all of these things. DO NOT FIND YOURSELF IN THE FEAR OF BEING YOU!

Another words, often we are afraid to act a certain way around a certain group of people because we feel we need to act one particular way. We subconsciously are coming from a place of fear; fear of being different, fear of being laughed at, fear of being made fun of, etc.

Ultimately, you are sacrificing a part of yourself in order to fit in or, at the very least, save yourself embarrassment.

First of all, if people are laughing at you... You have brought them the biggest gift that of joy and laughter. One cannot get caught up in others opinions or judgments about yourself - the only opinion or judgment that matters is YOURS!

Go into LIFE as the abundant YOU... Watch the difference in how you feel and how you make others feel.

This is how you are in service... helping people either with a smile, a talent, a skill, an ability, showing love, showing compassion, etc.

You have the power to effect someone's life drastically by being abundantly you! Coming from a place of love, compassion, understanding, etc. and in turn the universe will provide for you.?

#5 - What Are the First Steps to Living Life "More Abundantly"?

Now that you know what an abundant life is and why you should live it, it's time to step out on faith and begin your new life. But there is one thing that should precede action in every situation. (I know... it's rare that a coach would discourage a client from taking immediate action - I do!)

Before I give you specific actions to take, I must first ask you to commit to living your life more abundantly. You see, without commitment there will be no follow-through! Without commitment, when the problems, criticism and negativity come, you will not be able to stand strong and live the beautiful life you desire. Commitment is standing firm on a Spirit-led decision- even when it's uncomfortable to do so.

So, if you are ready to live your life more abundantly, ready to experience the hand of God in every area of your life, then I ask you right now to commit by saying these words aloud (and, yes, it's important that you say them aloud because there's power in speaking - remember Proverbs 18:21 death and life are in the power of the tongue!):

"I commit to living my life more abundantly."

Making this commitment to yourself will help you to stand strong and do what it takes to live this awesome lifestyle! Your actions will not be affected by feeble emotions (like fear or discouragement) - you will be able to move forward, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, despite how difficult situations may appear. Those fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5 will help you to overcome in the face of adversity. You truly will be able to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7).

Now that you've made the commitment to live an abundant life, here's some work for you to do (Remember, the diligent Christian is unlike the lazy man in Proverbs 20:4. The diligent Christian plows!). So here are the 3 changes must follow the commitment you've made:

1. You must change your mindset - you must possess an "abundance mindset". This is not to be confused with the mindset of financial gain that's popular right now. My definition of an "abundance mindset" comes from Philippians 2 and it requires that you "let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus." To have Jesus' mindset, you must do 2 things:

a. Humble yourself

b. Esteem others higher than yourself

In this chapter Paul shares exactly how Jesus humbled himself and how God exalted Him as a result. Simply put, look for ways to bless others, encourage, love and uplift others! Look for ways to comfort those around you. Follow Jesus' example! If you want to be exalted, humble yourself. If you want a full, abundant life, learn to think highly of others and look for ways to serve them.

2. Change Your Speech - According to Mark 11:23, You will have whatsoever you say, if you believe in your heart and don't doubt. There is significance in saying, my friend. If you are going to live an abundant life, you will have to learn to "speak life"!

I want you to begin blessing your home and your workplace. Bless your family and your marriage and your friendships. Speak life over your finances. And don't just say it - like Mark 11:23 says, believe it. Believe in your heart that you will have whatsoever you say, and begin to say those things you want. Don't let there be any negativity in your vocabulary! Change your speech!

3. Change Your Actions - You will have to make a conscious decision every day to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh, and trust me when I say, this is not an easy thing to do! But remember, the Holy Spirit gives us power! Paul advises us in Galatians 5 that if we walk in the Spirit, we won't fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

In other words, we have to walk a different path - model Christ's behavior. A very significant part of "abundant living" is righteous living - not just believing and speaking, but doing as well! It's making good decisions. It's showing love, kindness, humility and servitude! Remember Matt 7:17? It says every good tree brings forth good fruit. The world will know you belong to Christ by your fruit! Your fruit are demonstrative of abundance. So change your actions to show forth your abundance.

When you decide to live abundantly, you align your thoughts, your speech and your actions with that decision. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help you to renew your thoughts, focus your speech and discipline your actions. I believe these 3 will changes open the door to a brand new life for you!
