Financial Prosperity - Want 2 Keys to Help You Excel?

Financial prosperity is available to everyone. The source of all financial abundance is God and with Him there are no limits. Trouble is, too many people are slow to learn the principles that will cause them to excel financially.

Are you tired of going in circles where your finances are concerned? In days of economic uncertainty, it is important for everyone to get a working knowledge of truth to prosper.

Sadly enough, too many people believe poverty is the will of God. This kind of thinking will prevent you from prospering. You can prosper by using God's spiritual principles in your finances. 2 Keys to Excel Your Financial Abundance:

#1) BE A TITHER

What is tithing? Tithing is giving the first 10 percent of your income to God's house. Most people don't like to hear about tithing and it puts them in fear. But you'll have no problem tithing if you see God as your source of supply.

The tithe is the seed money of wealth and is compared to sowing. The more a person gives, the more that person receives. Financial prosperity is one benefit of tithing. It puts you in partnership with God. We are told to bring the tithes into God's house and then test Him and see if He does not open the windows of heaven and pour out such a blessing on us that we don't have room enough to contain it! (Malachi 3:10)

Tithing is a step of trust and obedience that God will take care of your finances. God promises to pour out a blessing to the tither.

#2) GIVE OFFERINGS

What is an offering? An offering is something given above and beyond the tithe. Or what you give after you tithe.

When you give, it will be given back to you in good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. Also note, that whatever measure you give, (small, medium, or large), is the same measure that will be used to give back to you. (Luke 6:38)

No doubt about it, it is impossible to out give God and He is the source of unlimited abundance. God has promised to meet our needs spiritually, physically, and financially. If we do our part in tithes and offerings, God says He will do His part. So continue to take steps of obedience to His Word and you'll continue to have growing prosperity in your finances!

Prosperity and Being at Peace With Your Financial Situation

Did you know that prosperity and peacefulness go hand in hand? When you lack something, have you noticed that it brings you feelings of frustration, fear, discomfort, anxiety, and other chaotic negative emotions?

On the other hand, abundance and prosperity makes you feel content, pleased, secured, and comfortable. Feelings of peacefulness can actually be created by prosperity. But did you know that being peaceful can attract prosperity into your life?

How to Be at Peace

Try to find a quiet and peaceful place where you can relax as much as you can. You can try some breathing exercises while imagining a soothing scene that makes you feel at peace, calm, and relaxed. Try as best as you can to set a mood of total relaxation and peace.

You can try playing a soothing music or lighting up scented candles if you'd like. Once you are completely relaxed, conjure up an image of yourself having all the money you need and living an abundant life.

There are a lot of ways you can imagine yourself to be, but let me give you a few suggestions:

- Imagine yourself effortlessly having all the money you need, and you can freely buy and have anything you want - from a big house, luxury cars, fabulous clothes, eating at expensive restaurants, and you have plenty of time to do the things you want to do.

- Imagine yourself happy and content about your financial situation, and being of great help to others, contributing to the growth of society, or just plainly doing things for fun.

- Picture yourself feeling extremely grateful for all the blessings that you have.

Being at Peace with Your Financial Situation

Make sure that when you visualize, you infuse your imagination with a strong feeling of joy, peace, and contentment. Imagine what it feels like when you have financial stability, you have more than enough of what you really need, and you always will. Have you noticed a change in yourself? The strong feeling that you infuse your imaginations with are positive vibrational frequencies that you send out to the universe.

This will change the things that you are going to experience regarding your financial situation. By feeling peaceful about your financial situation, you are in turn attracting prosperity into your life. Make sure to be in a peaceful state regarding your financial situation before you do anything with it.

Pay your bills or get into financial transactions when you are at peace with your financial situation. This will attract more peace in relation to money in your life and make your life prosperous. Be at peace first, then prosperity will come naturally.

Try to do the exercise at least once a day - but of course more than once will work a whole lot better. Every session does not have to be that long, 5 to 10 minutes will do. What is of utmost importance is to get yourself into a peaceful and relaxed state while imagining that you have all the money you'll ever need.

Prosperity and being at peace are both connected to each other - so be at peace to attract prosperity.

It never fails; when we do honest work for our money, we increase. God says He will increase us when we gather by labor; just like the end of Proverbs 13:11 says in the quote above.

Honest work gets results. Notice also that the two words "honest" and "work" are missing from the get rich quick plans.

Do yourself a favor: Don't trust in quick riches that are soon gone. Build your financial world a little at a time, and experience the long-term benefits of success and abundant prosperity. Doing things God's way brings lasting success and financial abundance.

Abundance Has Nothing To Do With Financial Wherewithal, Its About Your Character

Some people make the mistake of thinking the more money they have the better their life will be. Nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to abundance and prosperity.

For example, if you were to ask 10 people if they think their life will be better off if they were rich, likelihood is nine out of 10 people would say yes. What they fail to realize is, wealth and well being are two separate and distinct entities. Give me peace of mind and happiness any day.

Case in point, history tells us the great kings of Egypt believed in the after life, in fact they built boats so they could travel in the after life. Sorry to disappoint you, that boat has not budged from the original location it was built and the wealth of the King did not matter.

My question to you is this, "Does your character speak volumes about your abundance and prosperity?" The answer to this question is absolutely, positively yes. Research tells us that people who live a simple life are happier than people with boat loads of money.

One reason why people who live the simple life are happier is because they do not have big problems and are not trying to impress the world. Some rich people think the house they live in and the fancy car they drive represents happiness.

They cannot be further from the truth when it comes to abundance. Why? Abundance is an internal process and has nothing to do with outside appearances and external expressions.

Assuming rich people live healthier lives because of the money they have would be quite a stretch. Mind you abundance includes: peace of mind, gratitude, understanding, patience, open heart, love, character and sharing.

Money is a tool when directed in the right direction can result in strengthening communities, have you seen the condition of your community lately? If you have, it lets you know the rich people in your community are not concerned with the conditions in your neighborhood.

I encourage you to allow your abundance to flow like water from a waterfall, embrace your essence and create a wellspring of happiness. Your character is worth far more than money and it always will. You know you are abundant when people come to you in a crisis, they do so because they know you will help them sort out what is troubling them.

Be the kind of person who is a difference maker, in the end no amount of money is going to matter, the life you live will.

Reiki for Prosperity, Abundance and Financial Success

Quite a few people have written to me asking how to use Reiki to bring abundance, prosperity and/or

financial success into their lives. This article is a somewhat shortened version of my blog entry on this

matter. Please click on the link below to read the longer version.

I'm going to present a few ideas for using Reiki to achieve abundance, prosperity and/or financial success.

But before I do that, I want to mention that this is one area where Reiki and Feng Shui go together very

nicely. Many books on Feng Shui specifically tell you how to set up your environment to encourage abundance and prosperity.

I do want to acknowledge something before I continue my discussion. To some people, speaking of Reiki and money or Reiki and financial success in the same breath makes them cringe. They view Reiki as pure Love, a spiritual calling, and to introduce the idea of money into the sacred realm of Reiki is abhorrent to them. If that is your viewpoint, I completely understand and respect your position. I have known healers in many fields who have felt the same way.

But I am a bit more of a pragmatist and a realist. I recognize that we need to make a living and we need to support our families. Even more importantly, I realize the negative effects poverty and monetary insecurity can have on us.

When a person feels financially uncertain, even endangered, that person may find it very hard to pay attention to the spiritual aspects of his/her life. If someone has so much financial worry, thoughts of "How will I pay the bills?" and "Will we lose the house?" may occupy so much of that person's energy and time that they can scarcely think about things like helping others heal.

Does this mean that poor people and people with financial difficulties can't be spiritual and can't help others heal? Of course it doesn't mean that. However, survival issues can become paramount, and for many, many people, these issues interfere with their ability to give any of their energy to spiritual and healing issues. We are all human, with a limited amount of energy and resources available to us at any given time.

But beyond this, I don't believe there is anything inherently wrong in the desire for abundance, prosperity

and financial security. We live in a world that is run by money; that is the reality we live with, no matter

how much we might wish it were otherwise. Without sufficient money, we are in deep trouble! When we have sufficient money, we can turn our attention more easily to helping others.

Everyone has to define what the term "sufficient money" means to them. For example, I am not fond of the idea of using Reiki to win the lottery, or to win at gambling. Frankly, I don't like the energy of gambling, because so many people's lives are ruined by gambling.

Having said that, however, I leave it up to you to decide how much money is "sufficient". The people who

contact me about using Reiki for prosperity usually want to have enough money to pay their bills on time and provide a good home for their families. Some of them have started Reiki and other healing practices, and want those practices to be financially successful so that they can both help others and support their

families.

The term "abundance" is also open to interpretation. Abundance is not necessarily the same thing as having a lot of money, or being very prosperous. Each person has to decide what "abundance" means to them. Someone who does not have a lot of money but who has a lot of friendship and love might feel that their life is filled with abundance. Having a sense of abundance allows us to feel content with what we have. That assumes, of course, that we don't struggle to find the money to eat every day, or we don't live in an unsafe place.

You can use Reiki to attract abundance and prosperity towards you in many ways. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Draw the Reiki Power Symbol and the Long Distance symbol on a piece of paper, and place them in your wallet or purse. Every time you see them there, think of abundance/prosperity being drawn to you across time and distance. You can also place these symbols in a jar of coins and tuck one in the back of your checkbook.

2. Draw the Power Symbol on your Palm Chakras each morning. This will serve as a symbolic reminder of how money changes hands, and it will help draw that money toward your hands.

3. Use Aventurine stones or Malachite stones, both of which are often used to represent money. Place the

stone in one hand while you draw the Power and/or Long Distance Symbol over that hand with your other hand. Concentrate on the idea of wealth flowing toward you. Leave the stones near your checkbook, purse, wallet, etc.

4. Using the Long-Distance Symbol, you can send Reiki into the future for your finances. In other words, you can send positive energy into the future. You can also use the Long-Distance Symbol to go backwards in time to help heal some of the emotional toll that financial difficulties have taken on you.

5. If you have a business, you can draw the Power Symbol and/or Long-Distance Symbol in the air in the

corners of your place of business, over the cash register or credit card machine, etc. Leave small

Aventurine or Malachite stones that you have charged with Reiki near the register or credit card terminal.

There are several Chakras that are important to pay attention to in money matters:

1. The Palm Chakras - since money literally "changes hands".

2. The Third Eye Chakra - because it's the seat of your intuition, and it can help you make good decisions

about your future.

3. The Solar Plexus Chakra - because it's the place of your inner wisdom, your "gut feelings", and it can

help you determine whether something is a good or bad financial decision for you.

4. Be sure to focus on your Root Chakra, too, if self-confidence (or lack of it) is an issue. Your Root

Chakra is also important if past financial problems have disturbed your sense of stability and security (and

made you less confident as a result).

The subject of Reiki for abundance, prosperity and financial success is complex and multi-faceted. I have

Small But Sure Steps to Attracting Financial Abundance

The Law of Attraction has been popularised by the movie "The Secret" in recent years, but if we look back into history, we can see that there have been vocal proponents from many different time periods. For example, Florence Scovel Shinn was an early 20th century Metaphysics writer and teacher of The New Thought Movement, much loved and best known for her first book, a prosperity classic, (which was self-published, by the way) The Game of Life and How to Play it. The following quote sums up her philosophy:

"The invisible forces are ever working for man who is always 'pulling the strings' himself, though he does not know it. Owing to the vibratory power of words, whatever man voices, he begins to attract."

Amongst the many examples she gives in her book, she describes how a woman once came to her for help in attracting a new dinner service. Not long afterwards a friend gave her a single dish, which was old and cracked. She came to Florence complaining "Well, I asked for a set of dishes, and all I got was a cracked plate!"

Florence replied "The plate was only signs of land. It shows your dishes are coming - look upon it as birds and seaweed," and not long afterwards the dishes came.

So often, when we get something that seems like an exceptionally small portion of what we ordered in, we give up, as if these measly universal offerings are a sign of how little we are worth and definitely evidence that The Law of Attraction does not work! Attracting with your thoughts, yeah right.

But how different our experience of life would be if we saw these crumbs of manifestation as a sign of greater things to come! So, next time you are asking for an expansion in your finances for e.g. and someone buys you lunch, then celebrate - as if kindness clearly abounds! If your vacuum cleaner breaks down completely and someone gives you one they had going spare, you can say The Universe provides for me in a myriad of ways. If a 2-4-1 offer for your favourite pizza comes flying through your door, then tell yourself, I live in an abundant and generous world! If cash comes to you out of the blue like a scratch card win, or finding a coin in the street, then notice that money is right now flowing freely to you.

Remember who it is that is making the distinction between attracting ?1, or ?1000,000.

As you line up with these snippets of abundance and you notice the universal acts of generosity, that are around you right now, at the same time intending for greater things, The Law of Attraction has to add to this, bringing you even more expansion on your finances. It won't be very long until you are spending more time thinking about the money and gifts that are flowing to you, rather than the money that is flowing out of your wallet. Now that you are putting your attention on things coming your way, you are a match for financial abundance aren't you?

The Law of Attraction always brings you that to which you are a vibrational match.

How Can We Prosper Despite Today's Financial Climate of Fear?

Recently a number of things happened in my life that I felt were out of congruence with the spiritual way of living: My husband had an emergency appendectomy, and the bills were beginning to pile up. Many things were out of kilter and I couldn't figure out why.

Then friends and family came forward and supported us with their presence and their prayers. My husband recovered more quickly than was expected; our finances began coming into alignment with our consciousness of abundance, and we were grateful as we saw our life together as a blessing.

There is a story about a little boy who was expecting to receive his birthday present. He was led to a barn, but when he opened the door there was nothing but manure on the floor. The little boy yelled with excitement. He dashed into the barn and began digging through the manure. When he was asked what he was so happy about, he answered, "with all this manure there has to be a pony in here someplace!" He knew there was good in store for him. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. The good is always there. But we must know it to receive it. That is the secret. That is the way.

What can we do to change the direction of our lives and affairs? Our thoughts, words and belief are more powerful that we realize. When we think, believe it and absolutely know good is happening and in such a clear way that we can see it, we can create healing of our body and healing of our finances. As we think, so it is. As it was for the little boy when he expected a pony so clearly the pony absolutely had to be there and he knew it so completely that he was willing to dig through the manure. That is how we create healing, abundance and prosperity in our lives. We know it and see it so clearly that we act as if it already is. It is when we absolutely know that good is in store for us, when we know that in fact it is already there that we receive.

Even when things seem to go wrong in life, there is a meaning and a purpose behind the circumstances. Ask yourself, "Where's the pony in this situation?" Expect a blessing and it will come. Visualize money flowing into your life from various sources. Think about your bank statement with higher amounts than what is present at this moment. Make a vision board that displays pictures and words of what you want and need and how you want your life to be. The most important step of all is to give thanks for all of the good that is flowing into your life even before you see it. The universe supplies what we ask for knowing it is already there. It is the belief and the absolute knowing and trusting that creates it and makes it so.

AffirmationToday I look for the blessing in my experience. I know that God means everything for good and I see it as already done and complete and I give thanks for it.

Only educated people have money

There are many more.

Money is simply the visible manifestation of your internal beliefs about wealth and abundance. They're all part of the same "unified field" or system.

Financial Abundance - 5 Factors

As an "Abundant Life Coach" I get asked about the meaning of "financial abundance" very often. What this means to you can be the difference between living the lifestyle of your dreams, or settling for something less than your dreams. I want you to live the life of your dreams!

Here, then, are 5 Essential Factors of Financial Abundance:

"The Abundant Mindset"

Thousands upon thousands of books, articles, media, programs, and so much more have been produced that discuss the awesome power of our minds, and the influence of our thinking upon our lives. It is difficult to say enough or emphasize enough that truth. As I see it, we are exactly as we think.

In my work, I recommend the adoption of an "Abundant" mindset. This means so much more than finance or money, however, for the purposes of this article, I will discuss abundance only as it applies to the world of money and finance.

A financial abundance mindset means enjoying an abundant amount of money, and yet not allowing greed. Greed does not work (sorry, Gordon Gekko). Of course "financial abundance" will be a relative concept; it will probably mean something different to each person. Greed, however, is fairly obvious; it is almost like knowing (within your mid or heart) the difference between right and wrong.

Further, a financial abundance mindset means having the monetary means or resources to enjoy an abundant lifestyle, yet balancing your financial wealth with philanthropy and generous giving (see point 4). When one's personal motives are clearly defined and one's goals are aligned with those motives, then financial abundance becomes clear.

"Specialized Knowledge"

The largest difference between the rich and poor (or the "haves" and "have-nots") is knowledge. Or, more specifically, the largest difference is a specialized knowledge; meaning that they have the "right" knowledge and also know how to use that knowledge to their advantage. In other words, specialized knowledge is the information or data itself, coupled with the wisdom to know how to use the information or data.

For many, specialized knowledge is an academic education such as medical or law school, while for others this might mean computer programming, aviation repair, or something. Further, many of those with a financial education know how to leverage their own money to make more money. Obviously the point is that specialized knowledge translates to earning ability.

"The Power of Compounding Interest and Investing"

For many people, diligent savings and investment of a consistent percentage of income over considerable lengths of time has lead to financial abundance. I would certainly add that economic factors always play a significant role with regard to risk in investments. Even so, living well within one's means while investing and saving can very often lead to financial abundance.

"Generous Giving"

Generosity does not necessarily mean giving away or donating money. Mr. Zig Ziglar has said: "If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want."

This is so very true. It must be an unwritten law of nature that over time, our generosity is paid back several times over. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, and yet employing an attitude of generosity is always a safe bet for a great return. And, if nothing else, it is an illustration of excellence of character.

"What You Love Over Time"

We should seek ways to turn what we love to do into a good living. I am a firm believer that when we do what we love doing, money very often comes as a byproduct, because our focus is not so much on making money as it is on enjoyment and lifestyle. Over time, money tends to take care of itself in large part when we are doing what we enjoy, especially when it helps others.

In conclusion, the very first point - having an abundant mindset - sums up all of the points I have made in this article. When we do what we love to do; when we are generous and seek to help others; when we live within our means and save money; when we always seek a more specialized knowledge...we then have an abundant mindset, and are bound to realize financial abundance.
