Abundance Has Nothing To Do With Financial Wherewithal, Its About Your Character

Some people make the mistake of thinking the more money they have the better their life will be. Nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to abundance and prosperity.

For example, if you were to ask 10 people if they think their life will be better off if they were rich, likelihood is nine out of 10 people would say yes. What they fail to realize is, wealth and well being are two separate and distinct entities. Give me peace of mind and happiness any day.

Case in point, history tells us the great kings of Egypt believed in the after life, in fact they built boats so they could travel in the after life. Sorry to disappoint you, that boat has not budged from the original location it was built and the wealth of the King did not matter.

My question to you is this, "Does your character speak volumes about your abundance and prosperity?" The answer to this question is absolutely, positively yes. Research tells us that people who live a simple life are happier than people with boat loads of money.

One reason why people who live the simple life are happier is because they do not have big problems and are not trying to impress the world. Some rich people think the house they live in and the fancy car they drive represents happiness.

They cannot be further from the truth when it comes to abundance. Why? Abundance is an internal process and has nothing to do with outside appearances and external expressions.

Assuming rich people live healthier lives because of the money they have would be quite a stretch. Mind you abundance includes: peace of mind, gratitude, understanding, patience, open heart, love, character and sharing.

Money is a tool when directed in the right direction can result in strengthening communities, have you seen the condition of your community lately? If you have, it lets you know the rich people in your community are not concerned with the conditions in your neighborhood.

I encourage you to allow your abundance to flow like water from a waterfall, embrace your essence and create a wellspring of happiness. Your character is worth far more than money and it always will. You know you are abundant when people come to you in a crisis, they do so because they know you will help them sort out what is troubling them.

Be the kind of person who is a difference maker, in the end no amount of money is going to matter, the life you live will.

What Do You Really Know About Abundance and Prosperity?

Who doesn't want to be rich? Even the very rich want to be even richer and those who do not want excessive financial wealth still want an abundance of some other thing in their lives. Be it in finances, health or relationships - abundance and prosperity is what everybody aspires to have.

Of course, abundance mean different things to different people. For the sake of simplicity, let us use abundance in relation to finance and monetary value. Let's say a man has used a bicycle his whole life, finally having a car is an extremely extravagant blessing for him. If his neighbor grew up with a lot of cars at his disposal, then one car is hardly worth his attention. A helicopter will be what crowning success is to him. On the other hand, a person with a jet setting lifestyle won't be impressed with a parked helicopter in a hangar-maybe having his own island will be his pinnacle of prosperity.

As you can see, definitions vary for each individual. It is a personal matter only you can resolve for yourself. Unfortunately, many today find themselves falling short on their vision of personal prosperity. Economy and timing are relevant factors, but ultimately having abundance is a choice and anyone can receive it.

How do we go about doing that? Well, first of all we need to know what exactly we are talking about. What is the meaning of abundance? Abundance is defined as having an overflowing fullness and ample sufficiency of resources. It is not only having your needs met, you have more than enough besides.

Imagine a large empty glass on a table. Water is poured into it but it doesn't stop at the rim. It spills outside the glass onto the table and down its sides. This is abundance, an overflowing of what you allow to put inside your life. But you think, 'That's crazy talk. You mean to tell me, I need to allow money in my life so I can get more money? I don't even have money in the first place!'

You are absolutely right; you don't have the money- not yet. See, abundance and prosperity as the world perceives it, is having the physical manifestation of the resources you want. Not everyone realizes that being rich begins in your mind. So start by putting thoughts of prosperity in your head. Realign your mindset to what you want to become. See yourself rich-and believe it.

I have never seen a poor man with a rich mindset remain poor. In fact, look up on some of the world's billionaires and you will find many climbed up the ladder of success because they had a vision of what they want to be-or more to the point, who they believed they ought to be. If you see this clearly, unclouded by circumstantial factors like education, background and differing opinions; then no one cannot stop overflowing prosperity from pursuing you.

The wisest man that ever walked the earth once said, "If you can believe it, it can be done". Abundance is a personal, overflowing expression of blessings-- and it is yours for the asking.

10 Truth's About Prosperity

For those of you who tend to use only your logical mind to create wealth, you may want to sit down. Here are a few rules of prosperity that guarantee results.

Truly know what you want. Then put your request out for others to hear.

If you can formulate the question, you WILL get an answer.

Focus on what you DO want, rather than what you DON'T want. It's

habitual for most of us to go to the negative "what if's." What if I lose my money on this deal, what if I fail, what if I can't afford it and 1000 other thoughts that give us heartache!

Expect to have abundance. Wishing, hoping, affirmations and prayers don't work unless you believe that what you want is coming to you.

Expecting means you KNOW it's going to happen, even when there is no proof. What kinds of decisions, actions and risks would you make if you KNEW you would have positive results?

Only take actions that you are inspired to do. If you try to do all the things that you've read about that you are SUPPOSED to do or the stuff that your parents told you should do, you'd feel a weight on your shoulders. What do you want to do? If it feels irresponsible to only do what you want, consider a different perspective. It is YOUR responsibility to make yourself happy. When you are in the flow of joy, everything you attract will please you.

It is your job to mind your business. Your business is knowing what is and what isn't making you happy about the investments, partnerships, jobs and tasks you are involved in. If it's not giving you what you want, change it now. Get a different financial advisor, change jobs, or talk with your partner. If you keep doing it the same way, you'll always get the same results, no matter if they make you glad or sad.

Listen to your inner guidance. Anytime a deal, situation or person has

gone sour; you knew something wasn't right. Think about it. You can

look back and at some point you had a feeling (even if just for a split

second) that you didn't listen to. Listen to your gut, it will never fail you.

Know the difference between your intuition and your "gremlin voice."

Your intuition gives you simple and short messages. Your negative self- talk usually sounds like a parent nagging, someone playing devil's advocate or the biggest fraidy cat. A gremlin will say things like, "This investment is too good to be true" or "I don't know how" or "I better play it safe than sorry." Your gut just tells you if something feels good or bad.

It takes the same amount of effort to create $1,000,000 as it takes to create $1,000. If you knew you could create a million a week, you could.

It is the same process to manifest any dollar amount. You desire it, you decide you're going to have it, you take an inspired action, you believe, it shows up.

You can have abundant prosperity, now. It truly does not matter what you have created in your past. Abundance is available to everyone in the same amounts. Do you believe that? Whether you do or don't is the very reason why you have prosperity at the level you desire or not.

Trusting yourself is the biggest key to creating the wealth, prosperity and

well-being you desire. You don't have to know all the details, how-to's or

information about the topic you are pondering or engaged in. You do have to know that you will make the perfect choices for you, in perfect timing, with the perfect people and you have an inner guide who will always lead you down the perfect path. No kidding!

If you focused on practicing one of these truths each week, your life would be transformed. There's no effort in doing this. Create a couple of notes around the house, work and your car to remind you. Tell a few friends to give you a nudge if they catch you talking or acting from a place of lack or playing it safe. Now you're set. I KNOW you will love receiving the wealth that you are sooooooo capable of allowing!

How to Attract Abundance and Prosperity - 7 Top Motivational Quotes About Your Ego

Is your ego your friend or your enemy? If you are finding that you are not getting the results you want in your life -- if the level of abundance and prosperity you are after continues to elude you -- your ego may well be the culprit.

We generally live in an ego driven society, so it's not a surprise that ego may be getting in the way. Ego disguises itself cleverly within you and then goes about convincing you that it is you. You are taught to invest so much effort and energy into preserving your ego, yet it's only by letting go of the ego that you can truly be set free to live a life of prosperity and abundance.

This is one of the core teachings of Wallace Wattles in his book The Science of Getting Rich. Wattles teaches that ego is a vestige of the competitive plane, whereas lasting prosperity and freedom reside within the creative plane. Therefore, your path to riches and fulfillment in life is through your creative mind rather than your competitive mind (ego).

How do you know that your ego is in the way? The easiest way is to practice observing and monitoring your own thoughts and feelings and look for clues.

Are you hesitating to do something because you are worried about what others will say?
Do you find yourself having to be right all of the time?
Do you find yourself seeking the approval of others?
Do you criticize yourself and put yourself down?
Do you believe you have to fight for everything you get?
Do you believe you must win and others must lose?

These are but a few examples of the way in which your ego can be manipulating you. The interesting thing about your ego is that it will do anything it can protect itself, whether that is to your overall detriment or not. A terrific "mind bending" film on the topic is Revolver, directed by Guy Ritchie. It offers some really intriguing insights and analogies on the topic of ego and is well worth watching.

To further help you frame the topic of ego, here are 7 terrific motivational quotes to assist you in further coming to grips with your own reflections about where your ego might be getting in the way of what you really want.

"Ego is the biggest enemy of humans" Rig Veda
"One may understand the cosmos, but never the ego; the self is more distant than any star" GK Chesterton
"Whenever I climb I am followed by a dog called Ego" Friedrich Nietzsche
"It is the nature of the ego to take and the nature of the spirit to share" Proverb
"Today self-consciousness no longer means anything but reflection on the ego as embarrassment, as realization of impotence: knowing that one is nothing" Thedor Adorno
"The ultimate aim of the ego is not to see something, but to be something." Muhammed Iqbal
"Every normal person, in fact, is only normal on the average. His ego approximates to that of the psychotic in some part or other and to a greater or lesser extent." Sigmund Freud

How to Attract Abundance and Prosperity - 10 Top Motivational Quotes About Truth

What is your perception of truth? One of the interesting things about truth when you really examine it is that it's all a matter of perspective. The concept of truth is especially interesting in light of the fact that most people tend to take to their perception of truth to be absolute.

Yet it's your perception of truth that determines what you believe, and it's your belief that determines the level of action you take towards your dreams of abundance and prosperity.

If you look up the definition of "truth" in the dictionary, here is what you will find:

1. the true or actual state of a matter: He tried to find out the truth

2. conformity with fact or reality; verity: the truth of a statement

3. a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like

We're taught that the "truth is out there" and we're inundated with messages that promote a particular truth, but my truth and your truth may be very different. So who's is the correct truth?

Conventional wisdom at one time was that the Earth was flat. Everyone agreed that this was the truth. When Columbus set out to finance his exploration of an alternative route to the Far East, he was laughed at and ridiculed. All because he saw a different truth.

This of course ties in directly with your beliefs. Often in life, in order to make your dreams come true, you must follow your own belief in your own truth. You may not find many others who agree with your view of the world. At the same time, you must guard against holding to your own truth as absolute. Is it starting to feel a little fuzzy?

In the spirit of finding the truth, here are 10 top quotes about the nature of truth:

The greatest enemy of any one of our truths may be the rest of our truths. (William James)
The thought that provokes thought is much more valuable than the thought that is only an echo of an accepted truth. (Thomas W. Hanford)
Candor is a double-edged sword; it may heal or it may separate. (Wilhelm Stekel)
When in doubt, tell the truth. (Mark Twain)
The Greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. (Stephen Hawking)
The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth. (Niels Bohr)
The greatest friend of truth is time, her greatest enemy is prejudice, and her constant companion humility. (Chuck Colson)
It is better to be divided by truth than to be united in error. (Adrian Rodgers)
Truth is not determined by majority vote. (Doug Gwyn)
The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple. (Oscar Wilde)

What is your perception of truth and is your perception assisting you in reaching your dreams or is it hindering you? Or perhaps, to quote another famous line, "you can't handle the truth".

Abundant Prosperity - If You Want True Riches, Hear What God Has to Say About Your Money!

Abundant prosperity is available in all areas of your life. It is important that you don't limit prosperity only to finances. True riches equals much more than money or things: it also includes spiritual blessings like wisdom and peace.

If you want true riches in your life, you need to listen to what God has to say about the matter.

God has plenty to say about your money. He actually talks more about money in the Bible than even prayer. Yet it is a subject that most people don't want to talk about. Or at least they don't want to hear what the Lord has to say about money.

Let's look at a couple key areas you should pay attention to.

YOUR HEART FOLLOWS YOUR TREASURE

If you want to know what someone loves, look at what they spend their money on. What you invest your finances on is a reflection of what you love.

"Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." - Luke 12:34

Where and what you spend your money on does more than reflect the condition of your heart. Your spending also decides the direction that your heart will go. This is good news. You can choose where your heart will go, by choosing what you invest your finances in.

Where do you want your heart to be?

If you want it to be with your spouse, then spend money on your spouse. If you want it to be with your house, vehicles, toys, and possessions, then spend your money on those things. Do you want your heart to be with God? Then tithe and invest your finances in the things of God. Investing in Him brings great returns.

FAITHFULNESS WITH YOUR MONEY OPENS THE DOOR TO TRUE RICHES

Another key step you must learn is how to be faithful with your finances. If you are not dependable, reliable, generous, and faithful with your finances, God will not commit to you true riches.

"If you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?" -- Luke 16:11

Money is not really true riches. True riches are revelation, wisdom, favor, and other spiritual blessings of the Lord.

Are you getting this? God is saying if you are a faithful and generous giver, then you open the door for Him to do things in your life that money can't do.

Unfortunately, people often don't want to be talked to about money; only spiritual things. Yet, God is trying to tell you that He's not going to entrust you with spiritual things if you're not first faithful when it comes to your finances. They go hand-in-hand and you need to prove you are able to handle the money you now have in order to be entrusted with more and also the true riches of spiritual blessings.

Do yourself a favor and begin to listen to what God has to say about how you should handle your money. Then trust and follow His directions. Believe He will take care of you financially and know that following His plan will open the door to true riches and abundant prosperity in your life.

May your faithfulness result in spiritual blessings and continued growing prosperity!
