Instead, concentrate on what you'd like to have, what your dreams and hopes are, etc. Having a good imagination also helps. Visualize yourself already having the kind of life you want while taking advantage of opportunities that come your way.

Wealth and Prosperity Tip # 3: Tell Yourself That You Deserve It.

Money comes to those who successfully ask for it. However, people who are used to negativity all their life might suffer from a negativity relapse. I call this the deserving quotient.

All our lives, we've been told that life isn't easy and that if we want something, we must work hard for it. The minute something good happens to us (without our usual sweat, blood and tears sacrifice), we feel undeserving.

And when you start feeling that way, the universe follows that train of thought and you're back to square one again. So tell yourself you deserve it. You deserve it simply because you asked for it.

People have always sought after wealth and prosperity. Admitting the same to yourself will only help you become aware of how much power you have over your life. Once you find the courage to ask for something, the universe will spring into motion and opportunities will lay themselves at your feet. Everything comes together. Everything falls into place. Truth is, who can deny how important money is to any person living in a civilized society and using it as their currency.

Money has a greater influence in our lives than almost any other commodity. It is one of the most talked about subjects in the Bible. Consider how a sudden loss or gain of money affects a person's attitude to a great extent.

I think you would agree that we all should have a practical understanding of exactly what money is and the laws governing its manifestation. This one individual area of study will not only affect your own life, but the lives of those around you.

Out with the Negative and In with the Positive Money Thoughts

Thinking is the highest function we are capable of. Yet many people fool themselves into believing they are thinking, when often they are just replaying old movies in their mind. It is important to take notice of this and begin choosing your thoughts and developing a prosperity conscious mindset.

Mental awareness of prosperity always precedes manifested wealth. Thoughts will create ideas, which will help you create a plan of action to then go do those things, and put yourself in the position to manifest more money.

Think of children born into prosperous families; they have been conditioned from birth to be prosperity conscious and think prosperous thoughts. These children only see themselves surrounded by wealth, and they in turn play that out in their adult life with their choices of careers, like-minded spouses, and lifestyles. It's as if they feel it is their birth right and they don't even entertain thoughts of poverty and lack. Any setbacks are only temporary because they are prosperity conscious.

Unfortunately, the majority of people have not been born into that kind of environment and raised to have a prosperity mindset. The opposite is too often the case and living in a poor environment with poor thinking and poor conversations is the norm.

Anyone can change their way of thinking. It is not always easy, and takes a desire to do so and a lot of effort. But the results from the effort will be well worth it.

Lack and limitation only exists when we give it room in our minds. Opening our minds to prosperity consciousness helps us see money as an obedient servant that we are master over, and that we can tap into unlimited earnings potential.

Remember, that we must have something mentally before we have it physically. So let's make those private thoughts and conversations in our minds be wealth conscious, and move us to a higher potential.

I am prosperous and wealthy.
Money is good and I am blessed to be a blessing.

Money Is Energy

Money is very similar to electricity. It flows. It's energy. We want to plug into the energy. The more we can plug into the energy and use it. The more you can learn about abundance the more you will be able to re-wire your financial future. It will allow you to have the prosperity mindset that will really work. You have to get your mind right. At the end of the day it's all in your mind, how you approach your life and the way you think about things.

Spirituality

What we spend our energy on is what we bring into our lives. We have to get in tune with our spirituality this week. Everything starts with the emotion inside. Manifesting more money starts with spirituality. To be abundant you need to love yourself. Presence, posture and understanding that you are a spiritual being that experiences what is happening in your life are the essential components to connecting with your spirituality. When you love yourself you make the right choices, you can love other beings, you value yourself. The more you learn and the more skills you gain the more valuable you become. You need to value yourself. The deep spiritual connection to yourself is very important. You have to get the practical side to build the left-brain buy in. You challenge is to get yourself to love yourself. This is straight up "love yourself " and simply understanding that you are the miracle of birth.

Use a Dreamboard and affirmations to help you build the belief that you are a prosperity magnet. You have to be able to keep pictures and symbols of your abundance because that will bring things into your life. Abundance is a feeling. You can feel prosperous by using some tricks like carrying a few hundred-dollar bills in your wallet. When you pull the wallet out and you don't have any money inside the wallet you are reconfirming those doubts and keeping you in lack thought. Keeping pictures on a Dreamboard, carrying a gratitude rock can make a really big difference in bringing money into your life. You have to understand that you deserve it and you can make it work. You have to take action.

If you haven't taken action yet, you have to think about it, plan and take little steps. Go after your dream. Don't let anyone take it away.

Believe and Be Open

We're not here to go down negative paths. You're here to enjoy your life. We are winners. We want to enjoy this process along the way. Visualize the things that you want to do in your life. Believe. Allow things to work. Allow things to happen. We need to plug into the energy and allow the money to come. Understand the energy. We can't lose when we go this route. Money Vs Abundance and Prosperity

Which would you prefer?

My spiritual teacher once told me that all our life lessons are learned through three things: relationships, health and money. I personally have found all three to be true. I've had five husbands, cancer and extreme highs and lows in my bank account.

By becoming more conscious in my life, I've created different realities with each of these situations and come out better than before!

This month's column is about money, which in much of today's society, equals power. The erroneous belief is, If I have money, I have power. In the higher consciousness, we know our erroneous beliefs cause us to create the very things sometimes we don't want or desire, so when we erroneously equate money with power, we actually diminish our power.

In truth, why not learn what abundance and prosperity really are? And with today's economic climate, this realization may be particularly useful.

There's a big difference between abundance and prosperity and money. Abundance is the result of knowing that you have the power to do what you want to do, when you want to do it. Money is simply one of the infinite forms of energy you can manifest in abundance. You can also manifest love, security, good health, etc. Prosperity is a belief system in "being enough," and that "there is enough." As a result, you experience enough.

Many people keep themselves in financial poverty through the erroneous belief that there "isn't enough" money, they cannot create enough or that they aren't enough, and hence, "not worthy" of money. When a person is in this state of poverty consciousness, in essence, deny their own power. As powerful creators, we continually create - whether we're conscious of it or not. So, consider that if you have the power to create debt, you also have the power to create the money to repay those debts.

Some people believe the old adage "money is the root of all evil." Yet, if everything around us is the energy of God, then we're setting up an algebraic equation that looks something like this:

(A) God = (B) everything and is everywhere, and (B) everything and everywhere includes (C) evil then (A) God = (C) evil

This particular erroneous belief is pervasive in our world. Do you hold this belief? If so, consider that in this 3D reality, evil is simply love expressing itself as something that appears to be other than loving. Have you ever asked God why something is happening? Have you ever been angry or disappointed with God? If so, you might be functioning with an erroneous belief system that maybe keeps you separate from knowing yourself as God and separate from knowing that God (you) is/are unconditional Love.

I suggest we all consider a much higher concept of money, which looks like this:

(A) God = (B) Money and (B) money = (B) energy, therefore, (A) God = (C) energy

If you can accept this higher concept, you will understand that withholding money from yourself is really withholding God energy. If you truly accept God and know yourself as God, and you really want/desire more money, you can create having money and accepting money, too - in any form it comes. Perhaps it's through your job; perhaps it's through gifts or other forms. Don't limit how money comes to you. Just understand money is an expression of God and of unconditional Love.

To start creating the amount of money you want, change your beliefs about money and be able to accept your power to create money. Did you parents teach you to sacrifice and do without? Or did they teach the opposite - spend now, charge it and pay later? Either way, remember you already are abundant! If you wish to see yourself as abundant and prosperous, then simply believe that you already are. The universal law of Life Attracts Like will support you in this belief, and you will be one more step on your way to remembering yourself as a fully enlightened being!

Why?

Because once they arrive at their objective, they are left feeling empty. They feel empty because they did not acquire the other important things, outside of money, that fulfill us as human beings - such as camaraderie, loving relationships, spirituality, and the like.

These are all important pieces of the puzzle that every human needs to feel fulfilled. But what do these people do, they aspire for more...money. They believe more in their bank account will fill the emptiness in their lives.

But money alone cannot take the place of all the other things mentioned above. It is not end in of itself, but a means to a greater end.

In the end, money is truly a blessing - so long as we don't make it a be all and end all in our lives. It should be used to add dimension to wealth.

So remember, wealth does not come from what we have. It comes from what we do with what we have.

How to Use a Money Frog to Increase Prosperity

Probably the most common item people think of when the words 'Feng Shui' are uttered is the money toad. The vision of a three-legged frog/toad with a coin in its mouth comes to mind, along with the idea that it is a symbol of money coming into the home or business. It is surprising how few westerners know how to place this handy little item, or how many of them there should be.

This amphibian is thought to be lucky because it finds and holds wealth and can be caught with a string of coins. It is portrayed sitting on a pile of coins and gold ingots and has two distinct purposes: attract money and hold money. In the ancient Chinese myths, it is a symbol of the Moon Goddess Ch'an chu, an immortal who created the Yin, or feminine, principle. It is also considered an immortal pet of Lui-hai, a mysterious God who blesses businesses and came to earth to find it. Lui-hai used a string of coins to coax his frog out of the well it was hiding in.

While this frog is considered by most Asians to bring good luck, it is a Chinese symbol, tied to their ancient beliefs about astrology. The coins and ingots that it sits on are also Chinese. Placement varies according to more modern ideas, as the ancient myths have now combined with modern business. Many make the mistake of placing this symbol facing the door of the business, thinking that it symbolizes this helper going out to find money. Others place it on the floor, coming into the store but empty-mouthed. Perhaps it is personal preference and works according to what the owner expects. The ideal placement is one-third to halfway in, facing either the center or the wealth sector, with coins in the mouth.

The top number to have is usually nine but if one has a huge house, many more might be appropriate. The best idea is to have at least two: one coming in with money in its mouth and the other going out, empty-mouthed. One might also want to place the statue halfway into the home or business, facing the direction of the owner's wealth sector. When using amphibians of different types and sizes, place them according to the Flying Stars sectors. Some months red is not good but gold is, green is not good but white is, etc. My standard placement is one big green jade toad, empty-mouthed, heading out the front door, with two gold-plated bejeweled ones in the center of the house, facing my Tiger direction (south-east), coins in mouth, sitting on a pile of gold-plated frequency-infused coins (infused with Prosperity, of course). A red string with coins around the neck is said to help gather wealth; it also instructs your wealth helper to bring more back. Put your little prosperity-finders to work and be grateful when abundant prosperity comes your way.

Abundance, Prosperity and Money Creation

Having problems in the money department? Struggling to look after yourself properly? Lacking a sense of abundance and prosperity? Thanks to a conference I graphically recorded years ago, I have a very vivid image of the word 'abundance'. If you break the word into parts, you get A-Bun-Dance --- 'buns' as in butt or rear end, dancing. Abundance is literally about moving, shaking and having a good time. Moving to the beat of life in a happy way. Getting your mojo on. Contrast that with the word scarcity --- or Scar-City --- living in a scarred or scary place. Choosing to focus on scars. Such a contrast between the two words and funny how their meanings can be communicated in such a succinct way!

Are You Vibrating Scarcity or Abundance? So, what locale are you primarily living in - abundance or scarcity? Chances are if you are having repetitive money, prosperity or abundance issues, you spend more time in the scarcity or lack region. The majority of your focus is on the things you don't have (the scar) as opposed to on the things that you do (abundance) --- and as a result you are vibrating a scarcity harmonic rather than a prosperity chord. Your energy or vibration is out of whack. Money and other forms of prosperity and abundance can't easily make their way to you --- cause you are vibrating lack rather than have and like attracts like.

How to Get Out of Scar City: Different people have their abundance and prosperity issues wired up in different ways. One of the common keys to getting out of Scar City is to develop an appreciative focus --- to focus on what you do have and to develop a sense of empowerment (with a healthy dose of deserving).

There are so many different ways you can choose to view life, yourself and other people. You can choose to focus on the things that you don't like, or you can choose to focus on the things that you do. The two have very different flavors or feels to them - and are connected to radically different outcomes.

Empowerment and Ability to Create: Abundant people are empowered people. They believe in their ability to create and look after themselves. Somewhere along the line they have developed a can do attitude. They aren't victims. They are creators. And they have pretty positive beliefs about life, their abilities and their future.

Contrast that with scarcity folks: for different reasons they have less-than-helpful beliefs about themselves and their ability to create and look after themselves. They are disempowered. Feeling like they don't have what it takes, that things are done onto them, that life is difficult, or the future is unfriendly. Outlooks like these hamper creative energies. Snuff them. Squash them. Keep creativity and sharing energy down and covered. In short, there are some scars to heal and overcome. Some healing work is required.

Share, Give and Help: Want to increase your prosperity? Think about what you can share, give and help others with. Lots of money creation involves reciprocal arrangements. Give something of value and assistance in order to receive. If you are in a salary environment, how can you be more helpful and resourceful --- how can you increase the value of what you do, by adding to your responsibilities or by seeking out more (either in the job you are in or through another position)? If you are entrepreneurial, what can you share, give or help others with --- the more people you can help the larger abundance you can attract.

Be Open to Unusual Forms: Abundance doesn't just come in the form of direct income. Be open to receiving abundance in forms other than the usual ones.

Refunds, rewards, winnings, prizes, discounts, gifts and trades are just some of the other ways that abundance can make its way to you. Think of abundance in wider terms. It gives the 'universe' more ways to give to you. When they come to you, recognize them for what they are --- abundance and a reflection of your ability to create!

Get Over Your Receiving Issues: When you give, it is OK to receive (in fact, if you want to go even further, it really is ok to receive without even giving - but I'll leave that one for another time). Sometimes people have money issues because they have a hard time receiving.

Somehow they got it wired up that it is bad, wrong, or selfish (or some such thing) to get or receive. Perhaps they are oldest children who were told to 'be big boy or girl' which was interpreted as it's not ok to look after oneself. Or they have faith beliefs that complicate their ability to receive. Or have self-esteem or self- valuing issues that keep them feeling less than or seemingly in need of punishment or containment.

Whatever is going on, it's necessary to identify and work through these limiting beliefs to develop a healthy ability to receive. You do count. You do matter. It is ok for you to receive too. It is ok for you to live a decent life. To have decent things. To live a life of comfort and joy. There is more than enough to go around. Your having does not take away from someone else. Your success helps many people, while your failure or discomfort really helps no one, most of all yourself.

Put Your Financial House in Order: Money is attracted to a person who likes it and knows how to look after it. If you want to increase your financial abundance, then start by looking after the money you do have. Appreciate it. Treat it properly. Look after it. This means provide a proper home and place for it. Little things go a LONG way. Our minds are symbol making machines. Give your mind good symbols about money. If you are in debt, appreciate and be grateful for what you purchased. Organize your bills. Know what you have and what you owe. Make consistent payments (even if they are small). Take responsibility. Seek out financial advice. Tie up other outstanding loose ends like overdue taxes, filing, IOUs, etc. Get your books in order. As a financially savvy client of mine says 'money likes to have fun' --- make yourself a fun and enjoyable place for money to reside. When you demonstrate you can look after it you lay the groundwork for more to come.

Envision a Positive Outcome: No matter what your present economic circumstances may be, begin now to envision a more positive outcome. As written about in other SHIFT-IT articles, one of your greatest assets is your imagination ability --- and it's free. Use your mind's eye to imagine yourself in a more fiscally pleasant future. Feel what that more positive reality feels like. Soak up that resonance. Meet your Future Self that has it going on where money is concerned. Feel the relief of this position. The warmth. The calm. Whatever it is that being in a prosperity position does for you.

Do this repeatedly --- get that improved energetic humming through your veins. It may seem that this is just a silly imagination exercise that isn't really doing much, but in fact it is a very powerful activity that lines you up with the state that you seek - its pre-paving a path (laying the groundwork) for a more prosperous and abundant you.

The Purpose of Money

Unfortunately, much of humanity is so focused on making money that it has lost sight of deeper purposes. Persons in or affiliated with traditional organizations are perhaps particularly adept at this focus on money, or, as we like to say, "the bottom line."

We are moving into a time (or are we in it?) when we can more easily see the manifestations of our false beliefs. We are facing experiences that more easily teach us to tap into higher purposes and more empowering intention. We will surely get this teaching. Since I have entitled this article, "Money, Prosperity, Abundance," I want to define my terms. For me, each word connotes a different meaning and resonates to a different vibration.

The Meaning of Money, Prosperity, and Abundance

Money is a means of exchange, energy in the form of coins or wampum or reduced to paper as currency. Gold and silver have value -- both intrinsic and extrinsic -- but paper only represents value. The only power money has is the power we give it. Prosperity means flourishing and thriving. We tend to equate prosperity with good fortune and success and affluence, the good things of life. Abundance is an overflowing supply, fullness. The Infinite Source is our supply.

Energetically, money has the lowest vibration of these three. When fears surround money, the vibration moves to a still lower frequency. We can touch and see money. We have many myths and cliches about money (root of all evil, growing on trees, rainy day, buying happiness, and more).

The energy of prosperity has more of a flow to it than money -- listen to the word "prosperity" as you say it out loud and resonate to its vibration. You can feel similar resonance of the words that I used above to define prosperity, also.

Abundance resonates with words and ideas like joy and love and wisdom. Abundance is not really of this physical world, although we use it to manifest in the physical world. We cannot see abundance, we can only see manifestations of abundance. So, too, we cannot see love or joy or wisdom, but we can have feelings, pictures, and examples of the manifestations. All energy comes from Spirit. And Spirit is abundant, infinite, unlimited.

Creating Money, Prosperity and Abundance

When we focus our attention in the world of money, we tend to believe that the only way to generate more money is with money or something else that is tangible or physical. In other words, there is a belief that we can only create something "new" from something that is already created. This is a false belief. This is a belief that is coming to the surface for humanity right now as our money and organizational systems are challenged.

When we live in the consciousness of abundance, we know that we can create more of everything from the Source. There is no fear in this consciousness. Consider how you feel when you are surrounded by the richness of nature, one of the physical world's manifestations of abundance. Ideas flow. Peace is present. You can more easily touch your own joy. You vibrate to abundance.

Releasing Fears and Resistance

Fears and resistance about money are strong in our society, especially now. Such thoughts and feelings are not necessarily in direct proportion to the quantity of money an individual or organization has. Those with considerable financial means often live with more fears and resistance about money than those with modest resources. The usual response to this phenomenon is, "Of course, they have more to lose." But I say it goes deeper than that.

Fears and resistance about money are embedded deeply in the human consciousness because of the attention and feelings associated with it. Since I can see thought forms, I see how and where such dynamics are embedded. These dynamics permeate all aspects of our lives as a society, and impact us even when we do not personally embrace the specific concept. These embedded dynamics disappear as we lift our vibration and consciousness to appreciate abundance.

Fears and resistance about money can be released by surrendering -- often a tough concept for those who have been "successful" in our society. We release fears and resistance by knowing that we opening to wellness and abundance rather than overcoming sickness and poverty. We release by being attentive to our own growth process. We release by letting go. We release by no longer resisting.

Moving Forward

I know -- both personally and energetically -- many successful persons who are being challenged to move into and stay in their spiritual knowingness. Those who have been successful and prosperous in the world as it has been must now shift their foundation so that they believe in the Source of their manifested physical things rather than the belief in the manifested physical things themselves.

In your own family or organization or other group, you might consider ways to discuss concepts of abundance and prosperity and togetherness and plenty and love. Here is a simple example: the word "downsizing" is an anti-abundance concept. It is also dehumanizing, by the way. Consider, also, that "doing more with less" is a mixed vibration -- do you want "more" or "less"? Consider how you can promote more healthy concepts and clear messages.

The dichotomy of wealth and poverty is not merely an issue of distribution, but one of consciousness. We are moving into a new paradigm, a paradigm that includes the awareness and acknowledgement of Spirit. Let's make the move consciously, joyfully, and abundantly. More than enough exists in this world that is constantly expanding.

Start Creating Wealth Abundance Prosperity - Law of Attraction & Money

To attract money, you must focus on wealth. It is impossible to bring more money into your life when you are noticing you do not have enough, because that means you are thinking thoughts that you do not have enough. Focus on not having enough money and you will keep creating the same situations and circumstances of not having enough money. You must focus on an abundance of money, get into the feeling place of being wealthy to bring wealth to you.

How do you feel when you think about money? Be honest...

You need to feel good, in fact you need to feel great! If you feel "needy" about money then you will continue to attract needing money. You must radiate a positive signal surrounding money, its all about how you are feeling.

So maybe you have some of the following questions or statements running through your mind ~

"How can I become Wealthy?"

"How can I attract more money into my life?"

"How can I have Abundance and Prosperity?"

"I work hard in my job but there is a limit on what I can earn"

You need to intend it, make a conscious commitment, put yourself in a feeling place of already having it. Know that Wealth, Prosperity and Abundance is yours.

If you hold thoughts that only money can come to you through your job then let them go. If you continue to think like this then that will continue to be your experience in life. Get really clear about the amount of money you desire, think big, think wealth! Write the amount you desire and put it somewhere you will see it all the time, when you see it feel good know its yours, its on its way!

Short-term I found it really helped me to write down the amounts of money I would like to attract on a 30, 60 and 90 day scale this way it didn't seem like something which was too far in the future, to start with I didn't think too big this way I wouldn't scare the money away in my own mind ~ trust your inner feelings when it comes to this. I would keep updating my goals, moving towards them whist always remaining in that "feeling" place of wealth, prosperity and abundance. I continually update and reflect upon my financial goals showing gratitude for where I am today, knowing that all my financial goals are always met and will keep growing and growing.

Trust me it works like magic!

Using this process I opened my mind up to the fact that my job was not the only provider of money. I was open to new opportunities in life and after less than one year running my own Personal Development Business, I was well on my way to my big financial goals. I was able to quit my job, escape the rat race and become my own boss full time, this also enabled me to truly lift all limits on my attraction powers working towards total financial freedom in life. I now have the pleasure in helping like minded people realise their true financial goals to create their life by design.

Abundant Prosperity - If You Want True Riches, Hear What God Has to Say About Your Money!

Abundant prosperity is available in all areas of your life. It is important that you don't limit prosperity only to finances. True riches equals much more than money or things: it also includes spiritual blessings like wisdom and peace.

If you want true riches in your life, you need to listen to what God has to say about the matter.

God has plenty to say about your money. He actually talks more about money in the Bible than even prayer. Yet it is a subject that most people don't want to talk about. Or at least they don't want to hear what the Lord has to say about money.

Let's look at a couple key areas you should pay attention to.

YOUR HEART FOLLOWS YOUR TREASURE

If you want to know what someone loves, look at what they spend their money on. What you invest your finances on is a reflection of what you love.

"Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." - Luke 12:34

Where and what you spend your money on does more than reflect the condition of your heart. Your spending also decides the direction that your heart will go. This is good news. You can choose where your heart will go, by choosing what you invest your finances in.

Where do you want your heart to be?

If you want it to be with your spouse, then spend money on your spouse. If you want it to be with your house, vehicles, toys, and possessions, then spend your money on those things. Do you want your heart to be with God? Then tithe and invest your finances in the things of God. Investing in Him brings great returns.

FAITHFULNESS WITH YOUR MONEY OPENS THE DOOR TO TRUE RICHES

Another key step you must learn is how to be faithful with your finances. If you are not dependable, reliable, generous, and faithful with your finances, God will not commit to you true riches.

"If you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?" -- Luke 16:11

Money is not really true riches. True riches are revelation, wisdom, favor, and other spiritual blessings of the Lord.

Are you getting this? God is saying if you are a faithful and generous giver, then you open the door for Him to do things in your life that money can't do.

Unfortunately, people often don't want to be talked to about money; only spiritual things. Yet, God is trying to tell you that He's not going to entrust you with spiritual things if you're not first faithful when it comes to your finances. They go hand-in-hand and you need to prove you are able to handle the money you now have in order to be entrusted with more and also the true riches of spiritual blessings.

Do yourself a favor and begin to listen to what God has to say about how you should handle your money. Then trust and follow His directions. Believe He will take care of you financially and know that following His plan will open the door to true riches and abundant prosperity in your life.

Law of Attraction - Prosperity, Abundance and the Energy of Money

Prosperity means so much more than money. Being prosperous means living a full, abundant life, aware of all the wonderful opportunities and things around us. Prosperity includes money, but it's not the money itself that makes us feel prosperous, it's what we DO with the money.

Envision an ever-increasing stream of money coming into your life. How would you like to spend this constantly-expanding supply? How will it enrich your life and the lives of others?

Money flows to us and through us. Like a river, it seeks an outlet. Envisioning outlets for your money can help to increase and direct its flow.

As an experiment in raising your prosperity consciousness, do this two-part exercise:

Get out a piece of paper and number the lines 1 through 50. Next to each number, write something that you would like to have or do with the money coming into your life. Imagine that the money is already in your bank account, with more on the way; you're just making a list for an assistant to carry out your purchases.
Next, make a list of the ways you use this constantly-increasing stream to improve the lives of those around you, and the world at large. A lot of good can be done with money, and here you're telling the Universe that you will gladly serve as a conduit for the prosperity and abundance of The Whole. Feel the delight with which you funnel money for your own enjoyment and for the betterment of your world.

Look at your lists each day, and add to them as new ideas occur to you. You might also want to post the following affirmation in a place where you'll see it often: My prosperity serves the world.

Attract Money, Not Just Abundance

When you start trying to attract money with the Law of Attraction, it's important to remember that the words you use can make a dramatic difference in your results. For example, some people use the word "abundance" to encompass not just money but all forms of goodness like vibrant health, loving relationships, successful career, and so on. But the wording of ATTRACT MONEY and ATTRACT ABUNDANCE bring up two very different feelings, and therefore two very different frequencies that will be received by the universe.

Money carries a unique vibration that is quite different than other forms of abundance, doesn't it? Try this experiment: Close your eyes and imagine that you are holding a big wad of $100 bills. In your hands is roughly $5000 that you can use for whatever you want. Stay with the vision until you can feel the energetic charge the money holds.

Now, set that vision aside and imagine that you are living an abundant life. Yes, money may be part of that, but focus instead on just feeling peaceful and happy, with a life that is running smoothly, and so on.

Notice that there is a significant difference between those two frequencies. Neither one is better than the other - but if you are trying to attract MONEY for specific purposes, it's vital to keep attuning to the energy of money, rather than generalizing your intention into a focus on "abundance".

For this reason you may want to adjust your affirmations, visualizations, and other manifestation methods to focus specifically on the word "MONEY" as opposed to just "abundance". Rather than saying an affirmation like, "Abundance is flowing to me now," you can alter it to say, "Money is flowing to me now." Can you feel the difference in energy that those two statements hold?

When you visualize, actually see and feel *money* coming to you, or already being here in your experience. See your bank balance at the number you wish it to be. See and feel a big wad of money in your hands, rather than vaguely seeing yourself living a richer lifestyle. Attune to the energy of money, and you'll start drawing more of it into your life.

Of course, most of us would welcome abundance in all forms anyway - so you may want to set two separate intentions; one for money and one for general abundance. Do visualizations for both, affirmations for both, vision boards for both, and so on. Focus on money, attract money. Focus on abundance, attract abundance. They are both good, just different frequencies.

Success Quote - "For the Love of Money is The Root of All Evil" - Timothy 6:10

There is another version of this famous quotation "money is the root of all evil" that has been around since about 1000 A.D. It's rather different to the original New Testament quotation. The original version could be considered to be a success quote. The new version of the quotation can block your success.

There is just one small change in more recent version of the original success quote, but that small change is of tremendous significance! Removing the world love reflects a whole set of cultural conditioning that so many people fall victim to on their journey to success. In fact this conditioning is so pervasive you probably have it too.

You may have been bought up with the belief that money is bad, rich people are bad, making money is bad, being poor is good, noble, worthy... Your parents or someone else significant in your life may have passed similar beliefs on to you directly, through their attitudes to people and events or in some other way. Or you may have acquired these beliefs at school, from your friends or from your culture.

However it happened, if you belief that money or making money is bad, you will struggle to be successful with money!

The key to success - it's not money that's the problem

Stop and think about it for a moment. How can money be "the root of all evil"? Money in itself is passive, it is the system by which we exchange value - you exchange the value of your labour and expertise for money and then you exchange the money you earn for things that you value - food, clothes, a house and so on.

The key to success is to realise that it is your attitude to money and the way that you acquire and use money that is the problem. The original New Testament success quote says it so much more eloquently: "The love of money is the root of all evil".

The desires that we all feel towards money and making money can be bad for us and our society. Greed, acquisitiveness, miserliness, status consciousness... Money can cause humans to do a lot of bad things.

Believing that money is the root of all evil is one way to protect yourself from falling victim to these emotions. However as you've seen it can have some rather serious side-effects. Such a belief can cause you to reject money and regard people who make a lot of money as somehow morally inferior. And such beliefs will limit your ability to make money.

Success quote: give your attitude to money a health check

You should consider the original purpose of money - as a token to exchange in return for value. Money made by giving fair value in terms of goods or service is a fair exchange that is recognised by the whole of society.

Many people who make a lot of money - and you should aim to be one of these people - employ a large proportion of their money to benefit other people. There is a long tradition of philanthropy, such famous self made billionaires as Andrew Carnegie and more recently Bill Gates have donated a lot of their income to help other people.

If you find that you are limited in your ability to make money by negative beliefs about money, you should reflect on the success quote "the love of money is the root of all evil" and make sure that your attitude to money is one that is aligned with the positive good that money can achieve in this world. Once you have the correct attitude and you truly believe in it, negative beliefs about money will disappear like ghosts in the sunlight!
